Little'un

Just going to do a little post about today and then do a bigger one during the day about Saturday as there was a lot to it and I don't think my eyes will last that long. Pretty tired and I am up in the morning so I shall keep it short.

So we had a BBQ on Saturday and it was dark before everyone left so this morning I thought it would be the cleaning up job. My and dad had bought most of it in from outside by the time I woke up which wasn't even that late for me, about half 10. We washed and sorted it all because it was our mess and I didn't expect them to do anything to be honest so if they get around to reading this at some point - thank you mummy and daddy.

After that me and Amy popped into Argos to pick up a hair dryer she had click and collected - technical term. Where we parked really smelled like egg so try and stay away from the overflow parking there. It's not pleasant.

After that we went for a trip to the bottle bank, as we had an entire bin full of assorted glass bottles left over and I honestly don't remember that much stuff being consumed. But it was all there so it must have been! It's some what satisfying popping all the bottles into the different containers for the different colours. The green one was full of wine bottles that all looked like the same brand which seemed a little shady but.. Meh.

Then Amy treated us to lunch because she is amazing! We went to a place called Fair and Square over near Oxley Shaw, we first went there with her Nan for her birthday. It's not the type of place we usually go, so it was a nice change. The menu is also pretty cheap with a lot of mains on offer for 2 for £10, a lot of desserts also for 2 for £5. In all it was under £20 for the both of us including drinks! And it was all done really well and quick. I had a 10oz gammon steak with pineapple, pees and chips followed by a chocolate doughnut sundae. Amy went for a chicken square burger with chips and onion rings, sticky toffee pudding and ice cream to follow. I was having a little try of her burger; which was really good; when a child behind me decided to shout really loud and I managed to inhale a bit of chicken. Luckily no one was around to see me choke a little and the drink washed it down. Awkwardness.

After that we just chilled until I went to work at 5 - bleh. It was veg hot so we sort of just passed out on the bed. On the way home a rather sizeable bird left a rather sizeable poo on my windscreen. It's disgusting. I hate birds. Unless they are tiny and cute.

Thanks for reading, there'll be a blog about Saturday tomorrow during the day while I watch the tennis. Blog you later!

And by the way - I don't know about you but that doesn't look like a cheese grid to me. That there is a bacon crisp! Proof that bacon is better than everything.

Space stuff

Here we go. Just some random things about space.

I would like to point out that there are no links to pages because this is knowledge I've gained over many years and is easily accessible through google. I do not claim to have discovered any of this myself - I don't even have a telescope.

So astronauts live in space for a long time in one go because its pretty expensive to keep flying people too and from space stations. It is generally assumed that what they experience is zero gravity. This is actually a common misconception. What they experience is constant falling while orbiting the earth which creates the appearance of zero gravity. There is a strong enough pull from the earth to pull on the station which keeps it in orbit. The reason it doesn't fall down is because it is moving sideways really fast around us. This is why it looks like stuff if floating like a ball of water, all that's really happening is they are all falling really quickly in the same direction.

That's something cool to look up on YouTube actually, astronauts drinking water. Its looks really strange.

Scientists for some reason decided to work out what space smells like. Astronauts have have described space to smell like a nice streak or warm metal like from welders. The centre of our solar system apparently smells like raspberries. They worked this out by analysing the different wave lengths of radiation and matched them up to known ones on earth. As cool as this is I don't really understand why they needed to know, when you're up there you'll be in a space suit smelling some oxygen. I guess it's still something new to know.

So what colour is space? Depending on who you ask it's black, deep blue or deep purple. There is an 'official' colour according to scientists but I've always thought of colours to be quite a subjective matter. The reason it's so dark is because the light being shot out into space but all light sources hasn't found anything to reflect back on. Or it's so far away than no light is managing to get back to us. The sky looks blue even though we are looking out into space because the light refracts on the particles of the atmosphere and appears blue.

It's not just planets that orbit the sun. Comets such as Halley's Comet orbit the sun on a very large elliptical orbit which is why every now and then we will see it cross the sky. And by every now and then I meant every 75 years or so, none of us will be lucky enough to see it twice in one life unless we live to be really old thanks to science.

Space is roughly -270 degrees Celsius. Giving some leeway for different spots of different levels or background radiation. It's pretty chilly though, to say the least.

Some people say that life on earth came from deep space. From some far of planet that was destroyed by some event which sent a meteor at the earth with bacteria still living on it. This then made the platform to which the rest of existence spring boarded off which has lead to this very moment, including you reading this post. It's an interesting idea, but the chances of that are probably about as slim as life existing in the first place. Bacteria are known as extremophiles as they can live in extreme conditions such as the cold of space or the heat of a meteor burning up on entry to an atmosphere. So it's a possible idea as they could've survived in space but surely we would have found other evidence of this event.

The sun will eventually destroy our universe. In hundreds of millions of years so calm down. It'll run out of fuel and this'll cause it to expand to such a size it will go om nom nom with all of the planets nearby.

For anyone who has watched a rocket launch, there is a tonne of smoke. Funny thing is that most of that is just water vapour, rocket launches are virtually emission free. I think this is a great argument for rocket cars.

Space rockets cost over $1 billion dollars, the average cost of a launch is $450 million.

Astronauts do not keep item the same as here on earth because they will not experience a day and night cycle. They use something called MET - Mission Elapsed Time which begins from take off and ends on touch down.

I think I will leave it here because I'm not chucking any pictures in due to copyright, if I upload them myself then I have no worries. Plus google image search is a thing if you would like some pictures. Thanks for reading, that's my nerd out done for the day. Blog you later.

Wimbledon Crazy?

I really like to watch the tennis when it is on, I don't get it all year round because most of the time they broadcast it on channels which need Sky or something else so when Wimbledon is on - I get my fix of tennis. Luckily the two weeks worth will manage to keep me going for the rest of the year until the next one comes around. Today has been a pretty crazy day - well the start of the tournament in general has been too.

I missed a lot of the tennis today as I had work in the evening but I did manage to watch the Hewitt - Brown match up which ended with the underdog winning. Brown is a very much unknown German player, this was his 8th game in a large tournament and his 14th on grass which made everyone think 'where the hell has he been hiding?' because he played like a genius. He made it look pretty easy and for someone with such a slight frame, he had some power behind him. I do find it a little annoying when the commentators say 'why has he only just started winning games now?' because everyone comes into their game at the own time. Maybe he just had a really good day and he'll come down off of his high and loose in the next round. Its like the match that put Nadal out, the victor pulled out today due to injury and he played like a genius on Monday.  Sometimes you have a good day where no one would beat you.

No surprises when Murray went through to the third round, massive upset as Roger Federer went out. Tsonga pulled out due to injury in the 4th set of his match. The massive Cilic pulled out with injury as well. Sharapova said she lost because she was injured and because court 2 was 'too dangerous.' Some people can't just accept that on the day they lost. Fair enough if you were injured but don't start blaming the court. So far 7 people have pulled out in total and this is really weird for me because most Wimbledon's, most players are fine but.. This year everyone is! Apparently players pull out all the time but I never see that as I can't see any other tournaments. My sheltered sports life.

Enough tennis for now. Although I didn't get up to much today.

First things first, breakfast and sit down with Amy where we watched some of 'Your Grammar Sucks' which you should check out too, its quite funny. Then I took her to school, as per norm. When I got it, I walked to my Mums school to drop off some trainers and socks because it was sports day and she went in sandals.. Not going to happen.

When I got in I decided to set up my Xbox to try and 'farm' for an achievement on FF13-2 to win 10,000 casino coins. This takes ages because the slot machines are quite temperamental and the other way to win coins takes just as long to set up. People have said just use some elastic bands to hold down the left bumper then walk away and leave it. If you're lucky you'll get the achievement as the wins come in. No such luck for me. I left it for about 6 hours and.. I guess I will have to try again tomorrow. I hate luck based achievements.

While that was going on, I laid on my bed and watched some videos on my Netbook - which is where this post is coming to you from - as I saw I had lots to catch up on last night before I went to sleep. I thought it would go well with me trying to farm that achievement as I didn't really need to be there to do anything. I ended up getting really comfy at the start of a video that was about 40 minutes long.. And started dozing.. I had 3,000 coins when I managed to fall asleep accidentally, I woke up right as the video ended and I saw I then had 12,000 so I thought luck might be on my side but as I've already said - no.. I then went on a massive loosing streak for the rest of the day.

As for the post I mentioned possibly doing, I was planning to do that on the iPad as I could move around the house and add to it willy nilly but we forgot about it. We shall see if I do it tomorrow depending on what happens. I would like to do this post as I have a lot of random knowledge sitting in my head about space that some people may find interesting.

The picture at the bottom is one from last year, I had a good dig through the phones photos to find this one. It's my cat thinking that sleeping in soil will make him grow big and strong. Like a lion. Or it was just warm. I like to think it was the whole lion thing!

Thanks for reading and I shall blog you later. Share this with one person - I dare you.

3,009 as of now

I thought it would tip over the 3,000 view mark as of today and I was right! I thought I would check before I posted to see and before I started this it was at 3,009 views. Thanks very much!

So how was your day. Good? Bad? Don't worry, it's a day closer to the weekend no matter what. I had a pretty good and tasty day. Started of with a surprise bacon sandwich which wasn't planned. The best type of bacon in my opinion, I mean its good even if you know you're having it. But when it's a surprise - it's that little bit better which makes it even more enjoyable. Bacon. With sweet chilli philly which I like saying because it rhymes. Then I took Amy to school and I went to work, 9-3 so I guess I shall jump straight to this afternoon.

Although I did put an entire apple in my mouth at work. A little bigger than my fist. Just to prove that I can. It was also a very tasty apple. Good times, good times.

Any way, when I finished I went to pick Amy up as she finished earlier today as it was Tuesday and my car was fine. Parked for a little while to wait. Turned her back on to do some more driving - no power steering. It's not terrible because I know you can drive without it but I wasn't expecting it. I've never driven without it before so it felt like I was handling a very wavy trolly at work. It's actually pretty easy without the power steering, no where near as bad as I had thought. It's only a pain when you are going slow, uphill and turning at the same time. Then it's like having a fight with a fully grown male walrus. As soon as I got home, I turned the car off then back on and it was fine again! Temperamental I tell you!

When we got back, we caught up on the tennis scores and Amy read her magazines as it is magazine day and all, I played some more FF13-2 and got another achievement - only 4 left now and it'll all be done! Then we had some errands to run so off we went.

We went to the cashpoint to get some money for dinner, got some biscuits for her grandad, went to Asda to get Amy some new leggings, then Tesco's to get some music for the car - Imagine Dragons which so far is a very good album. We like to listen to the songs we know first to get the feel for them then we experiment with the rest of the album. I think it's going to be awesome. Then we headed to meet a load of people for a meal!

So me and Amy, Tate and Caz, Mr Cox and Chloe, Millz and Ronnie - all coupled up it - headed to Frankie and Benny's at Rochester to have a nice meal which we had been trying to arrange for about a month. We all managed to get time off at once and we ate the hell outa some good food. Big sharing platter with chicken wings, bread with other bits and a stick of celery? I chose a chicken and prawn Alfredo for my main because when I eat out I like to treat myself to some prawns, I do love them. But not too often - then I find they get sickly. Strange I know but it makes then special to eat. I am a member of USDAW the union so we got 20% off the foodbill which took it down to £120 or so. It's probably the highest food bill I've ever been a part of. It's nice because you can still have two courses for about the same as the set menu with that discount so it gives you the free choice of everything with a little financial security added. Awesome. We then went to McDonalds for a McFlurry because we are cheap skates. Ha.

After that, the car I was in headed back to for drop off. I kind of convinced Tate and Caz to come look at my handiwork in the garden which I still have forgotten to take a picture of! I guess that'll be my first one for the year of pictures idea - people should start takin bets for how long that will last.

I was thinking of doing an extra post tomorrow during the day with some cool things I like about space for my 3,000 views. I know some people will say yay sarcastically but I love space and it'll give me something to do and share. Shall see tomorrow. I might be caught up watching random tennis matches.

I found this on my phone of a different hedgehog in Amy's garden last year which I forgot about. It was super scared the poor thing and ended up wedged behind that while flower pot against the fence until I left. They are so cute. Probably illegal to keep them as let's though..

Thanks for reading people. Lets go for 4,000 shall we? Blog you later.

My afternoon?

The reason I say that is because this morning was the same as always. You can probably guess that bit by now, so yeah. Had some coco rocks though, they are the bomb. Also because I had work from 9 in the morning until 5. Doing the 9-5 thing was quite nice actually, I did a full days work which felt rewarding. Weirdo right here.

I was looking forward to finishing as anyone does because me and Amy were planning to watch Murray play because he was on last. This usually would mean we could catch most of the match like we did last year. Turns out he had already started playing by the time I got home! This is thanks to Federer spanking his opponent in 3 sets in 69 minutes which bought all of the game times forward.. Meant missing most of it. And I will miss his next match as its on Wednesday and I have work again! This is assuming they put him on in the evening.. I'm even missing Djokovic tomorrow because I am at work again. Good news for me though, Nadal went out in the first round to a random player who was rank 135 or something. Crazy! I personally don't like Nadal and I know a lot of people do but.. Him loosing probably made that Belgium the happiest man alive.

Spaghetti bolognese! We love it. We have it at least once a week, but we think we had our best lot today. We have been trying different combos of mince and sauce and extra veg blah blah blah.. Sounds sad I know but today's was so good! Tried this new 'smooth bolognese' which had no lumps in it, just the bit we liked. Then we added the mushrooms and a white onion rather than the usual red.. It was mighty tasty. Experimenting with your ingredients can be very rewarding for anyone who cooks their own stuff. It's part of the magic!

Tried some of the new cadburys chocolate today, strawberry and cream flavour. It is actually pretty close to the taste but its nothing to go out of your way for.. In my opinion anyway. I would say give it a try because its introductory price is £1. At the coop anyway.. Not sure about anywhere else. They have really gone crazy with making chocolate bars with fillings.. Like the Oreo ones and now these 'magnificent creations.' It's all good but.. Sometimes I just want chocolate.

So I played a little bit FF13-2 today. I'm at that point in a game where I have finished it, I'm just cleaning up all the extra achievements on the side. This can be really good or bad depending on the game, like with this one I am enjoying it because the last achievements are challenges. Apart from the gambling ones which some people say took them about 10 hours and even then it is mainly luck so.. Not looking forward to grinding that. I was thinking of drawing a character from FF13-2 after I finish the Dead Space 3 one, a character called Caius Ballard. He is pretty badass. If you want to see what he looks like google him or go to www.creativeuncut.com and look at the galleries there. That's where I take most of my subject images from. Give you an idea maybe.

Watched 90210 today too. I'm such a girl. But it did mean I got to see the advert saying that Skins is back in 7 days. I'm feeling this series could be a major flop or a major success as they are brining back some of the best characters in my opinion. Just depends what road that they will take them down and if they will be related at all or all separate! Guess we will have to see.

Assuming I spent 8 hours of my day at work.. I'm surprised I managed to get this much in. Guess today I am just feeling inspired. I am on my phone this time so no surprise if there are a load of autocorrected mistakes but I'm sure you'll get the idea of what I am saying.

Something Amy suggested I do which I will be starting from the 1st of July, it's like a challenge.. To take a picture every day which I will then use in my blog. She said I should try and see if I can keep that going for an entire year, one a day. Even if it is just a post which contains a picture and a caption if I don't have enough time for a full post. I like it. I shall give it a go. Plus something to look at rather than just text is good.

Here's a picture for today; from when I went to the Olympic park during the Paralympics with Amy and some of her family and their friends. It's from the base of the weird torch tower thingy they built, we didn't get a chance to go up plus it was like £10.. But I quite like this picture. It also brings back memories of a really good day.

Thanks for reading and I shall blog you later.

Sleep for the weekend

There was a lot of sleep had this weekend. Amy was babysitting until almost 1 in the morning on top of working all week so she was pretty knackered. I am a young man so I just like sleep anyway. So Saturday, we didn't get up until about 4 in the afternoon. I know that's really bad, but we weren't asleep the whole time. We were just laying in bed watching videos on our phones and looking on Facebook and Twitter.. Drifting in and out of naps. Not going to lie though, its probably the most well rested we have both felt in a very long time but alas, it probably won't last that long. It's Monday tomorrow after all and we are both working 8 hours or more!

Once we were up we went to Tesco's to get some provisions for the week, then we went to Sainsbury's because we like some things from there more and they are cheaper. Some people say it's weird that we shop at all of the superstores but if they are all in close proximity to each other and saves you money then why not? Get the best of everywhere. We then had a McDonald's to top off the lazy day, also because we wanted a Despicable Me 2 toy. I really want to have a milkshake when I go there but the last couple of times I have been there they have been terrible.. Or the wrong flavour.. Or a mix of flavours. Don't like that.

When we got in, we tried to watch some TV but for some reason the TV was having none of it and not working so.. We thought we would put a film on for some background noise and sort of watch.. We put on The Perks of Being a Wallflower which has got excellent reviews and from what I watched of it, definitely deserves it. It looked really good and the bits I did watch I enjoyed so at some point I will have to sit down and watch it properly. Then I can give you a proper 'review' and my thoughts. Then we went to sleep again.

We didn't sleep as much today but we did spend a lot of time enjoying laying in bed. Eventually I tore myself away to the other side of the room to have a play on Final Fantasy XIII-2. I finished it today, maxed out all of my main characters and killed the hardest enemies in the game and got a good 300 Gamerscore. I'd say that is pretty successful for a single sit down.

Amy also convinced me to try some strawberries today.. I like the taste of strawberry but I don't like real strawberries.. Well I didn't now they aren't so bad. She cut up a load of strawberries and then dipped them in some double cream and that wasn't too bad. When I eating them I hate the seeds, they feel horrible in my mouth and annoy me but when they are all chopped up and dipped in sauce I can't feel them as much. I think I will eat more of them now so that I eat more fruit but.. I don't think I would go out of my way to buy some to eat them myself. Not that far into liking them yet.

Amy just told me that the moon is the brightest it is going to be in a long time tonight so if you are reading this during the night or the morning of Monday then have a quick look. It really is bright! I would take a picture for you but the phone doesn't pick it up even though it is that bright. It's because the moon is a tiny little bit closer - by tiny I mean compared to how far away it usually is - to the Earth than usual and this is what happens. Luminescence. It's awesome.

Two random pictures from my phone! One when I noticed a cat on a roof and thought it was cute. The other when I drew a Japanese or Chinese symbol on Amy's arm.. Can't remember what it said but it looked pretty good for a ball point pen.

That's all for this one peeps. Very close to 3,000 views so I think I might tip over that tomorrow or Tuesday but you will know when I know and put it in a post. Thank you all for every single view. Blog you later.

Thursday and Friday

So Thursday, I got up and took Amy to school. This is usually a pretty normal event apart from today we ran into a baby hedgehog in my front garden. It was so cute. I wanted to keep it but they wouldn't let me because they aren't pets or something along those lines.. I don't believe them. My sister saw this hedgehog on the way to work, so did my Dad, so it was pretty much part of the family already. Just got acquainted with everyone. You'll see it down the bottom because I am on the netbook again because I can get it done quicker.

Then I played some more Final Fantasy because I am getting close to the end and I really want to finish it now I've got into it again. Then a Mr Tate text me and asked if I wanted to have a nerd session because he had the day off and no plans. It was a win win situation all around. So he came over to mine, we played some Minecraft, some Castle Crashers, it was all good fun. Then we decided to have a curry in the evening because neither of us had any plans for dinner and hadn't had a curry in a long time. Good choice.

I picked Amy up and we headed over to Tate's for the curry. I had a chicken korma and some rice and a keema naan and some plain naan. The plates were basically cleaned down to the last grain of rice. Well, I can say that for my plate. I could see a couple scattered on other plates.. Guess I was hungrier than them. Then we decided to watch Wreck it Ralph as we had planned to on the Saturday a while ago so.. Carol had finally seen it! She didn't see it in the cinema - tres disappointed.

Today Amy had to be in early because its Friday. I was helping my Dad in the garden today, we wanted to sort the bit out behind the patio door at the back of the house for those of you who know what I am on about. I should have taken a picture of the finished product come to think of it but.. I guess I will show you tomorrow instead. To some it up, because this is what I did all day until I went to work at 3.. I dug up some stuff, moved some stuff, laid some slabs down, made my first ever batch of cement, laid some bricks, spread some gravel. It looks pretty good. Quite impressed assuming my outdoor handiness in general is pretty poor. I didn't do too bad, but then again this is just me tooting my own horn. You'll have to see it for yourself tomorrow if I remember to show you a picture.

That's all today, sorry its a bit short but there wasn't too much to say about as the main bulk of my days was a large activity. Plus I don't like to talk about work on here because that's work.. Just stare at the baby hedgehog. Its cute. Blog you later.

Twesday

Don't worry, I didn't spell Tuesday wrong. It's just a mix of Tuesday and Wednesday. Because I didn't post yesterday so I am doing both days together in one, probably still quite small post because I was at work for 6 hours both days so.. Hmergh.

Yesterday morning, as always, a normal morning. Took Amy too school but then went to work instead of home as they called me Monday night asking me to work.. So I did 9-3.

After that, me and Amy went and picked out some chicken, cooked it and ate it with chips. Sounds really bland but its one of our favourite meals as the chicken from Nisa is so tasty! We also watched some TV, did some reading, I played a little bit of Final Fantasy. It was also our friends birthday who is finally 20 now but looks the oldest as he's 6 foot 5 or something. He asked us to go bowling - so we went bowling.

I am very inconsistent with my bowling, sometimes I will go and do really well and other times I'll just fail. All the time. We played two games as the place shut at 11 and they thought we wouldn't have enough time even though we finished at half 9 in the end.. First game I got 69, next game I got 119 so I was happy because if there was a third game I would have kicked butt. It was only £2 a game also thanks to voucher cloud - good app for you to get. Money off at loads of places. Our friend Tom also managed to get a prize out of the claw machine, an official Despicable Me 2 minion, there was a lot of fighting over it. Hiding it. Wrestling. The whole sha-bang.

After that we went to McDonalds as some people had skipped over tea thinking we were eating out.. Guess we kind of did as we went to McDonalds. Their happy meals also have Despicable Me 2 toys so it was win win all round. There were some people parked up blaring music and just doing whatever they do when they look at each others cars.. A police car turned up and they all left, and the policemen seemed to scoping us out and then just left for whatever reason. We are nice people. After all that I didn't get in until about 11:40 so I didn't have enough to post really. Hence you reading about yesterday today okay?

Same again this morning, jolly little drive over to Amy's school. I spent a lot of today FF13-2 clearing up loose and ends and getting further in the story. I think I'm quite close to the end because it has that end of game feeling with tougher enemies. It's just getting really confusing jumping about in all the different time periods and keeping track of it!

Then I went to work at 4 so.. There's another 6 hours!

How humid was it today? It's too humid. It's uncomfortable. Especially as I am quite warm any way, this just makes me feel super horrible. On the upside it does mean there may be a thunder storm coming, get to see me some lightning!

That's all for today, thanks for your time. I shall blog you later!

I smell seaweed..

All around Borough Green, all I can smell is seaweed. No idea why but that's just the way it is. I'm on the netbook again. Probably not the reason why I can smell seaweed though, two unrelated phenomenon.

Monday, hello again. I really didn't sleep all the well last night, just one of those nights so I woke up feeling awake just feeling awful. Like someone was really jabbing me hard in the stomach with a spoon and giving it a wiggle. Thankfully that passed and I went about the usual morning, took Amy to school. I then played some FF13-2, just doing some exploring and little mini games and what not. Then I asked to go to work.. Which would sound weird but for those of you who know why it'll all make sense. I won't get into it on here because work stuff is for work and this isn't my job. Its a hobby. I did go in my own clothes however which felt odd and lots of people looked at me funny thinking I was some crazy guy who liked to check the dates on all of the food before I bought anything.

I was there for about three and a half hours, then I went home and had some lunch. Got myself a triple sandwich from work as it was reduced. Had a chicken salad one, a BLT and a prawn mayo sandwich. That was yum. I mentioned yesterday that I got my Dad The Hobbit for fathers day and he watched it yesterday, enjoyed it. Said I should watch it. So I did. I agree with his views on it.

He said that the first hour or so was quite drawn out for what actually happened which was mainly just convincing him to go and them all eating for a long time then showing off their amazing plate juggling skills. Once it got into the main bulk of the film it did get going and was very good. It was nice for them to explain some of the weapon histories because that was a big part of the book. I have actually read the book so I know the jist of most of what is going on. My Dad also said that they lost the feel of some of the language and once again I agree. There is a big difference in the language used between this and the Lord of the Rings films. It was a very good film though none the less, the next two should be good because the introductory bit is all out the way with. I now also understand all of the meme's with 'I've never been so wrong' in them. It also didn't feel like I was sitting there for over two hours so that is always a good sign with a film.

I then played some more FF13-2 to get further in the story. I've sort of gotten to the free roamy bit where you have to do a lot of exploration yourself to advance but.. I like a bit of that in a game. I just wish there was some more guidance because some of the time you literally have no clue and spend a lot of time fending off random attacks.

We had a carbonara for tea. I know, we have it all of the time but it helps with our mushroom and bacon cravings. They are like our go to foods at the moment. I like to think that counts towards our five a day.. The bacon that is.. Five rashers a day.

Pretty sure the dictionary is more up to date on my phone than on here.. Carbonara is not a word according to my netbook unless I'm being really dense and spelling it wrong. Derp.

We then watched some tv and the such, watched 90210 again. It's not quite the same as the last seasons and it has been over a year so its tougher to get back into. Still good. The story is good. The drama is there. It's all good. I don't care that I like it.

That's all for today so I shall let you get on with whatever you are doing. I have this weird dream where one day people will drop what they are doing to read this and then forget what they were doing. That's what I am liking when I see something on YouTube I have been waiting for. Blog you later.

Tap tap goes the keyboard

So I just really fancied getting my fingers on the keyboard today so I am posting the main bulk of this from the netbook. The pictures I want to include I'll upload from my phone so they'll be at the bottom because moving them around and formatting is annoying. At least there will be pictures right? Plus it gives you a reason to scroll to the bottom. Who knows, you might even read some of it on the way..

So.. The last post I did was on Thursday, I just fancied doing this entire weekend in one go so here it is for you. Just a little thing too - my blog is over 2,800 views so who knows, maybe this week will see if tip over the 3,000 mark. Depends how many views each post averages a day.

So all the way back to Friday.. Which seems like ages ago now but.. I didn't do a whole lot. I had a bit of a nerd out to be fair, before I went to work that is. I'm not all that proud to admit it but sometimes it just sort of happens.. I don't plan it. First thing I did was get up and drive Amy to her school, keeps my in routine so I thank her for that. Getting me ready for when I get a new job. I then played some FF13-2 and some Borderlands 2 with someone I work with. That was nice as I haven't really played with anyone else online on that so.. That was new. My dad didn't have work so he made me a nice ham and cheese toastie for lunch, do love a good toastie.

Then I had work so.. 6 hours flew by..

Saturday, I woke up and all my body parts were just aching. No idea why but it made me really want to stay in bed for as long as I could, but the weekend called so I got up. See.. I'm pretty sure we made something for lunch but for the life of me I cannot remember. Probably because today's lunch will make all other lunches seem bland in comparison. I'll get to that later. Me and Amy went to Aylesford to go to Sainsbury's and Homebase. We went to Sainsbury's to try find some more bacon bits because they make salad real yummy but instead they just had a heap of onion bits.. We still have some of those left so that sucked. We did get 16 cans of Irn Bru for £4.50 though which was nice. It's always good to have a bit of fizz stocked up for when you fancy some.

We then went hunting for a present for my Mum and Dad for their anniversary, and don't worry they already know so they won't be shocked if they read this. We went to the Homebase in Aylesford and then the B&Q down the road then to the Homebase in Maidstone trying to find it. They wanted a penguin ornament which matched the snail one which they have already. It was no where to be found! Quite annoying but it'll turn up.

We then headed to the Coop to get some treats as my 'share of the profits' came in the post so we had some money off coupons. Got Amy some red wine, get my some cider and some chocolate to share. Then we headed up to Nisa to get a bottle of Rekorderlig which is this really good Swedish cider. Also got a cake mix which Amy made today - caramel flavour with caramel icing. For tea we had this Mexican selection thing from Tesco's and some potato skins with loads of cheese and sour cream. They were really good this time, last time we had them they didnt have a whole late of taste behind them bit this time - happy times for my tongue. Loved them.

Nice relaxed evening, watching the last of Gavin and Stacey, read some books and watched some random Saturday night TV. Starting watching Date Night until the adverts got boring. Then sleep. Sleeeeeeeep.

Fathers Day! I got my Dad The Hobbit because I knew he wanted to see it. We were planning on having a standard bacon and mushroom sandwich but then we thought, well we need some eggs for the cake mix so we shall have scrambled egg with it. Then we though, hell we may as well get some sausages as well! So in the end we had a sort of fry up brunch type thing with bacon, sausages, mushrooms, egg and toast. It was so good, I can see why people have that all the time. I know its like super bad for you but I didn't really care at the time. It all disappeared.

Amy also made the cakes alongside that which made a very nice way to finish the meal. I call it a meal.. It was more a of a mish mash of cravings on a plate. You'll see it down below. It also sated my cravings for mushrooms. I really want the garlic mushrooms I had at Frankie and Benny's again. They were gorgeous!

We spent the afternoon in trying to watch the tennis but the rain stopped it. So we ended up enduring Escape to the Country.. Then it went back to tennis and it was still raining so we had to watch Nigel Slater (I think) cooking stuff. Then finally there was some tennis and I watched Murray loose the first set before having to leave for work! So I wasn't all the confident in him winning but thankfully on my break I came back to see that he had won, a text from Amy and my Mum with the exact same message of 'Murray won!' Wimbledon is going to be epic. I really would like Murray or Djokovic to win because Nadal is a slimy git and Federer has won it enough now. Just stahp!

The extra two pictures at the bottom that I didnt mention - the birds just invaded our garden. No one else's just ours. They flew in, did some pecking and then disappeared! They left one behind who hastily chased after when he realized. The other is one of the cakes Amy made which had a sneaky little face on it. Creepy but cute at once.

Thanks for reading! Help me get to 3,000 this week by sharing it around. Please? Blog you later.

It's not midnight yet!

That's my motto for my blog.. Sort of.. I always post quite late it would seem because at the moment I mainly post about my general day to day occurrences. If its not midnight yet then there is usually time. Unless there is a distraction - procrastination sets in.

Just a warning, this'll be a bit of a short post because I was at work from 10-5 so and in the morning all I did was lay in bed watching videos. If you're interested I was watching an Australian gamer called Masterkizz, he usually uploads Borderlands 2 but at the moment he is showing his first run of Dark Souls. At this point in time it is really rare to find someone uploading a blind run of it as most uploads now are just people showing how their different builds work in PvP! (Player vs. Player..)

So work was work. I was supposed to finish at 4 but they asked me to stay for an extra hour and I said okay.. All there is to it really.

9gag has had a new update which now allows it to support gifs! Just like Google image search. Do like a funny gif. Don't worry if it doesn't work straight away after updating, it just take as while for it to realise that there is new stuff.. That's what mine did.

So first thing we did after Amy finished school was head to Tesco's. Needed to get some bits. It was crazy the amount of people that don't look where they are going and then walk in front of your trolley - then give you an accusing look. Like we are the ones in the wrong? Some people.. We decided to scan as you shop, it's a shame that now many people do it. Tesco had a whole section specially put in for it and someone has to stand there for their whole shift waiting for people to come. They get paid for doing barely anything, lucky sods. Then again, I only see it when it's not busy, I'm sure that it can be busy so ignore me. Just relaying what I see. There was no diet bitter lemon, sad times. I love that stuff. Even though its a mixer really.. Yolo?

We then had a nice dinner from the chip show, quarter pounder with cheese and chips. I had salad - my healthy section. Bad food tastes so good, it's a shame really. The reason it tastes so good is because your body know there is a lot of energy to be had from it so it tastes good. This encourages you to eat more high calories food to give your body energy. That's why salad usually doesn't taste like awesomeness. There is minimal energy in it so your brain has no real reason to make you want to eat it. Hope you learned something new.

Then we sort of just lazed around doing nothing.. It's that almost end of week feeling where you know you only need energy for one more day then you are free for two days. Sort of.. I work on Sunday so.. We just watched some videos, like Lonely Islands new song which is pretty funny. The music video is awesome too, they are getting loads of attention from famous people who want to do a song with them. They even got Justin Timberlake!

Guess that is all for today, work consumed most of the time to be fair. That's the way the world works I'm afraid. Not my fault but.. Hey! I'm sorry anyway. Blog you later.

Rain?

I don't know about you but to me it feels like it hasn't rained in ages so I wasn't too bothered to see some today. Makes a nice change. Plus it sounds awesome on the roof of the car, that's always nice. I also call it snail killing weather because if you walk anywhere at night, the silly sods are in the middle of the path. I think I killed two today. I'm not proud of it but they brought it on themselves.

I know I didn't post a blog yesterday but I was really tired when I got in last night so I thought I would embrace the sleepiness and sleep! It's a very rare occasion for me to feel tired so.. When I do I like to make us of it. It did mean I woke up like lightning at half 6 in the morning but I managed to get in another half hour of z's.

I actually did some more drawing yesterday! I just got the urge, and now there is Internet explorer on the Xbox I can have my subject image up on the big screen. Usually I would do it from my net book which would do my neck in, but now it is so much easier. Kind of awkward because I have to pull the blind down to keep glare off the screen.. And have enough light to draw.. But it works. So I might finish that soon. Who knows? Probably won't now I've mentioned it. I will get back into it soon because with all these new games being announced - shed loads of concept art!

These last two days during the day have been pretty much the same, I finally decided to play FF13-2. Or Final Fantasy 13 - 2.. I got it when it came out in Sainsbury's as it was on offer for like £25 instead of £40 so it was a bargain. I played it a couple of times and then never touched it again until now. I always refuse to get rid of it because I haven't finished it but now I might just do that. Plus a new(ish) game means loads of new achievements. Music to my nerd brain.

Me and Amy watched some more Gavin and Stacey yesterday, onto season 3. I forgot how short the whole thing is especially when you compare it to How I Met Your Mother which we really need to get watching.. One and a half series of that covers all the episodes of Gavin and Stacey!

Had carbonara for tea yesterday. One of my favourite things about this is that there is bacon and mushrooms left over in the fridge. Which means I get a nice bacon and mushroom sandwich - which I had today. I swear the mushrooms clean the pan when you chuck them in.. They take in all the stuff that comes from the bacon so they are even tastier. Good stuff!

As I have the iPad at my disposal a lot of the time, I like to have a video on in the background for noise and something to look at when I want a break. I've been watching a lot of PewDiePie's stuff recently because I think he is awesome. It's funny looking back at his old videos, like his 100,000 sub montage he did which was released in January 2012. A year and a half later down the line and he has over 8 million subs! All of his videos get millions or views. It's crazy. He must make so much money..

I've also been watching a lot of stuff from Rooster Teeth. They are a gaming channel and their job is to play games together and then show us. I'm so jealous. One of the guys is also from the SlowMoGuys which you should also definitely check out, some crazy things happen in slow motion. They've even done slow mo work on movies because of the recognition they got from YouTube!

So the price from Game for an Xbox One is £429, base model.. I think they are slowly loosing loads of people to the PS4 which is only £350 which in comparison is a huge difference.. Then games are apparently going to be up to £60! Then the whole thing with the used games resales.. Blah. I think I'll stick to my 360.

I saw the gameplay for Destiny today, made by the people who created Halo and Call of Duty. It looks amazing! Anyone who likes Halo and Borderlands - this is their love child. It has aspects of both and amazing graphics and gameplay and argh!? I want it. But I think that is Xbox One exclusive so.. Meh.

So.. Right now I feel like I am forgetting something that I wanted to say.. But it's getting close to midnight so I shall post it here. If I remember I'm sure I'll let you know tomorrow. Good night. Or morning, depends when you read.. Blog you later.

Now for a blog

See, I can blog now too because that other post I did earlier didn't take anywhere near as long as I thought it would. Plus I watched a film at the same time so there's something else for me to numb your brains with. Looking forward to it? Thanks, you flatter me.

Monday morning, up and early as per usual. Usual business, nice to have a proper routine again and being able to competently stick to it. Did a little shop for some bits a the coop first, then off to school with Amy. I feel like I'm getting more benefit out of her iPad at the moment as it lives at mine while she is at school. YouTube is the calling at the moment, but also handy for on the side research while doing other bits.

I started off with some Sims today; wanted to get me some achievements as I have the need to hunt again. Got 3 today, not a great haul but from the Sims is quite satisfying. It's like.. None at first but when you are so far in to the game they can just fall like flies. That took me to midday when I went for a walk to get some mince for tea. Spaghetti!

I then did the post that I popped up earlier, my anticipated games which is already wrong.. I said they were games I was looking forward to THIS year.. I just saw the E3 trailer for Dark Souls 2 and its out next year so.. That sucks. I need it now!

While I was doing that I thought I would put a film on, so I browsed LoveFilm and watched Hanna as I thought it looked interesting.. It was okay. I wouldn't scream at anyone to go and watch it, it's the type of thing I would say yes to if there was nothing else to watch. It had a strange story which wasn't really dove into much so it seemed a bit poor on the production front.. Mainly looking at a couple of cool combat sequences - which were pretty good, I take my hat off to them. The acting was good but.. On the whole it's okay. Give it a go?

Then I went back to the Sims to make some progress to some more achievements but no more this time. Didn't last too long, it feels like once you've had your daily dose, your done. So I had some time to fill and though, a short film would fit here nicely. Back to LoveFilm!

I watched the first film I found which was short enough to fill the gap, I ended up watching something very strange.. It was called Rampage, it was about a 23 year old who killed a load of people and hid it very well.. Just a film of mindless violence from someone claiming to be 'cleansing' the Earth to decrease he population in his own way. Little bit disturbing but.. It passed the time.

Spaghetti bolognese is so good! We did it with mushrooms and onions again but with a slightly different sauce. Very much enjoyed. Empty plates, full dish washed. Bish bash bosh. I had some ice cream for pudding but Amy went all out, meringue nests with cut up strawberries and Cornish ice cream. I must say, my pudding felt a little bit of a fail but.. I don't like strawberries. Just seedless strawberry jam. I can handle that.

We then finished series 2 of Gavin and Stacey for the second time. Tidy.

Then the first in the new and last series of 90210. Amy got my into it about two seasons ago and I don't think I should like it but I do so.. It's out there on the Internet for y'all to see so there's not much I can do now. It was a really bad first episode back for everyone.. Car accident, arrests, arguments and fires.. Blah! So good, drama is good. American.

#MERICA for those of you who watch Philly D.

Thanks for reading peeps. I shall blog you later.

Anticipation

So my friend asked me to do a post about games which I am looking forward to this year. He also mentioned E3 so I will be using that as a guide for the games which are coming out because that is basically to show case what is coming out.

Here's the link to the games suspected to be at E3.. Assuming its almost upon us it's strange that loads aren't even confirmed to be there yet.
http://uk.ign.com/wikis/e3/Big_Games_at_E3_2013

Also, this comes to you from my netbook as for some reason the Blogger app thinks it's a great idea not to be able to change the size of the font.. And when you copy and paste any links in the font changes size. For the rest of the post. My OCD can't handle that.

1. Dark Souls II
There's a surprise. So I have recently gotten back into playing the first one and this has got me eager for the second one. They could literally change nothing about the game but create a new storyline and the game would be amazing. It's a game that you like to get frustrated with because of the sense of reward from beating it. The only thing I would like for them to introduce is a lot more diversity with the magic. I know a lot of this won't make sense to a lot of you but for those of you who do know.. They are all pretty much the same. Plus the pyromancy is just to easy to chuck onto any character without some scaling statistic. All in all, can't wait.

2. Beyond Two Souls
See, those of you who know about this game will think this is a bit of strange addition to my list as it will only be available on PS3. I have a 360 so I won't be able to play this but from what I understand it is developed by the same people as Heavy Rain and will be staring Ellen Page; who is a wonderful actress. If it is anything like Heavy Rain, the storyline will suck you in and I will probably end up watching the entire thing on YouTube. Someone will play it and show people. That's what I'm looking forward to. Is that bad? I'm looking forward to watching something rather than playing it.. Each to their own?

3. Call Of Duty: Ghosts
Yeah, another Call Of Duty.. And it's by Infinity Ward who I don't really prefer compared to Treyarch. The name 'Ghosts' suggests they may be going down a slightly different route than usual, more of a game which rewards you for being stealthy. I can't see them changing it too much because everyone would go crazy. It's just a name at the end of the day so I can assume that it will be much the same as the other ones just with a new story, different ways to do the multiplayer because that is what most people seem to be interested in. The amount of people that you'll play online who haven't finished the main storyline of the game. That's the real point of a game really.

http://uk.ign.com/wikis/call-of-duty-ghosts

4. Dynasty Warriors 8
I didn't even know that they were making another one! I remember the amount of time I would spend playing this game at home and with my friends. It was very addictive, offered heaps and heaps of replay value. Only a little snippet for this one as I haven't played one in ages.. And I didn't know they were making a new one. It hasn't been confirmed for E3 so it may remain a mystery to me for now.

5. Elder Scrolls Online
Another game for me which will most likely be an unplayable unless the requirements are ridiculously low for the PC. It is a game which everyone has been asking for for years, ever since Oblivion. I always wondered what an Elder Scolls MMORPG would be like and I guess now I will get to find out. Once again it will most likely be a game I will just watch rather than play because I've never really been much of a PC gamer but.. I can see this being really big if it is done right.

http://uk.ign.com/wikis/elder-scrolls-online

6. Final Fantasy (All of 'em..)
There are many different Final Fantasy's which have been announced including 13-2 and then some PS exclusives which suck.. Especially as they are remastering FFX which was easily my favourite out of all of the FF series. I would consider getting a PS3 to play that in all its new HD gloriousness as long as the game and story stay the same.. That's very important. Just change the graphics so it as crisp as all of the newer ones and they'll be sitting on a gold mine. In my opinion anyway.. Yeah.

7. Splinter Cell Blacklist
Another game which I used to play all the time when I was younger. I remember this series of game being the only one which me and my friend Adam would talk about or play. We always wanted to get 100% stealth rating and what not, he was a lot better at it than me. I was always better at going in and crashing about the place. Not as satisfying as 100% rating truth be told. I hope they get back onto what Splinter Cell was originally about with this game, because the one after Double Agent was nothing like it.. They had the stealthy bits still in there as an option but the amount of times the game forced you into a fire fight did not feel right. Yes, the other games did have these situations as well but you would always have a way to do it stealthily, slowly and strategically picking everyone off one by one.. The AI was the best because they would notice that there was slowly less and less of them. Wuha. Looking forward to this.

8. The Last Of Us
Once again a PS3 exclusive that just seems to have an amazing storyline.. One to watch - literally.

There are probably more but these are the ones from the E3 list which I am watching out for. I can't wait for it all to be over because then there will be loads of new things for me to watch on the YouTube's about all of these new games. I was hoping that the new Rainbow Six would be on the list because they announced that last year.. Then it sort of disappeared and apparently it was supposed to be resurfacing this year. Who knows, maybe they are sneaking in the back door with their booth as a surprise.

Thanks for reading. I probably just bored a load of you.

If you would like me to do a post about something, just let me know. All research is done on my end so it could even be something about quantum mechanics  not that either of us would understand it. BYE.

Blog you later.

Lasagne!

Yummy. It was super yummy. We had the sauces ready for a couple of weeks but they are supposed to serve 6 people apparently, so between me and Amy that's a hell of a lot of food. That was Saturday night, so for now we shall jump back to Friday.

Now, I know this may bore a few people as the bulk of my Friday, I watched the rest of the last season of Lost. All eight episodes back to back. Almost. I won't go into it too much as I am pretty sure that barely anyone has, will or wants to watch it. It was pretty amazing. It was nice that there was a 'happy' ending even though they may have all turned out to be something that I won't say inches it does manage to ruin it for anyone.. Spoilers are annoying. Limits what I can say really. Just skip over this bit.

I did get a random message from my sister asking me to walk up to her school to drop off a jumper as she was cold. Guess it got me out the house for a little while. The dog was very happy to see me. It might just be because there was no one else there because usually she find me scary because I'm rather tall. This time she followed me around the house and kept rolling around in front of me. Then she followed me outside and made me chase her around the garden until I could catch her to get her back in the house. She even did that weird smile dogs do when they show off their bottom teeth. Crazy dog.

Then I had work from 3-10 so once again.. Herp-a-derp with that seven hours.

Saturday.. The morning sort of didn't exist.. We woke and then next thing we knew we had passed out and went back to sleep until past midday. I just out of it, and the bed felt super comfy compared to usual. I enjoyed it. Who doesn't like extra sleep? Even if it was unintentional.

Extra sleep an extra need to fill up ones stomach. On the agenda for lunch was a nice bacon sandwich. Bacon bacon bacon. With mushrooms. I went for garlic Philadelphia where as Amy opted for tomato ketchup. We are very mushroom orientated now. It's quite a strange development. Salad and mushrooms and other healthy additions.

Then we headed over to a Mr Tate's for lasagne. Well not straight away, because it was about 3.. Anyway, we played some Xbox to keep ourselves entertained. At about 5 we headed out to pick up his lady friend from work as she was also joining us for dinner.

The lasagne was good, just like the first time Amy did it. Lasagne and chips is just so yummy, but it's a shame that you can't really cook it for any less than 3-4 people. Not with them jars anyway, you'd end up eating left overs for the next two lunches. I don't think I would mind too much but I am very skeptical when it comes to reheating meat..

Then we watched the BGT final, I was rooting for the ventriloquist or the little comedian, Jack. Jack came second behind attraction which was still pretty good, you could tell he was disappointed but he still managed to make a joke about it. Very inspirational. The thing most people seemed to be talking about was the egg thrower who ran out of the orchestra in the two brothers act to throw eggs at Simok Cowell. I literally looked away for two seconds and it happened. Luckily it went up on YouTube about 5 minutes after so now it is forever immortalised. Disgraceful. I know that act still came third but everyone will remember it as the 'one where the girl threw eggs' rather than the amazing singers.

We were going to watch Wreck It Ralph afterwards but decided to call it a night there because people had to be up in the morning. On a Sunday. Ha.

Sunday seems to always be a nice relaxed day, quite peaceful. Me and Amy watched a lot of Gavin and Stacey again today, almost to the end of the second series now. Still really enjoy it. Still makes us laugh!

So, my friend has asked me to do a post about my most anticipated games which I think I will do while I have some free time tomorrow. I was thinking maybe to do a couple of posts a day while I have the free time. One during the day at some point about something I'm interested and then one like this at night. Although it may turn into me just telling you that I researched the other post all day long. We'll shall just see how it turns out I guess.

Thanks for reading, blog you later.

Burn

It's Thursday. I'm really quite sleepy. Lets keep this to the point shall we?

So this morning, up as usual to do what I gotta do. Sorted some things out with a phone for someone. Had a shower. Felt super duper clean which was nice. Better than that normal shower feelin if it makes any sense.. Then I had work from 10am-4pm so there's six hours you don't want to know squat about.

Amy finished early today because she stayed yesterday.. Basically swapping a shift. So we had a nice long afternoon and evening. Started of by going to retrieve her post which turned out to be all the Yankee Candle Tarts she had ordered. I forgot to get a picture of those so my bad! We also went to the shop to get some more salad for our tea, we went for that salad with the crispy salad advert. Someone will know what I mean. Our dinner was pretty banging today.

Look at that beauty. Chicken breast with cheese and bacon and a BBQ like sauce. Hunters chicken it's usually known as. With a bowl of crispy salad with cuscus, bacon and onion bits and sweet chilli sauce. All mixed up into one bowl of yum. And a diet coke. For pudding, coop's truly irresistible lemon meringue ice cream, which is really damn good for an own brand product. I could happily have that over a Ben and Jerry's tub any day.

And after we cleaned and washed up, we managed to get the glove to rock on.

Never again.

After tea we decided to try out the burner, to see how the tarts smelled if they compared to one of the bit candles. I'll be honest, they fill the room better. Not sure why but they do, could smell the 'summer scoop' all around the room. It smelled exactly like strawberry Hubba Bubba so I would brand that a success. Here's a picture of the thing going full speed.

The bowl at the top was literally just full of molten wax. The bottom just looks friggin' awesome where the candle is makin it glow. Hell yeah!

We also started to watch Gavin and Stacey again, it's still really good even though I know what's going to happen. That my friends is a sign of excellent writing and actors. But I guess you could probably guess that anyway. Because everyone has seen Gavin and Stacey. If you haven't, just say you have. People will like you.

I'm pretty knackered so I'm going to head of to sleep right about now. Pictures are worth 1,000 words so there's technically over 3,000 for you to read.. Get to it! Blog you later.

Lost again

By that I mean Lost the TV series. Just when you thought I was never going to speak about it ever again. I forgot that I had stopped watching it so I instantly went to LoveFilm to rectify this. For some reason it's not available on iPad so I just watched it on my Xbox, which streams much better now we have the new Internet. It's nice to be getting some solid answers out of it now. It's strange to watch and think to myself - hang on, I actually know what's going on. Only got eight more episodes left, so you won't have to put up with this idle chit chat for much longer.

Other than that, as per usual, first thing I did today was drive Amy to her school. Then I stripped my bed sheets off, which turned up in my room clean once I got back from work. My mum has some crazy washing skills. Then I just played some games. Read some stuff, general nerdy things. Having an iPad next to you while playing a game is like a nerds best friend, all of the Internet with answers sitting right there at your fingertips. You could argue a laptop is the same but hell, it's an iPad. iPad wins. I also ended up getting into a long conversation with an American guy who I played Dark Souls with as he didn't seem to know a lot about the games mechanics. After the game being out so long I just assumed everyone knew most stuff. Nice to see there are still new people to the game.

I then made myself a bacon and mushroom sandwich. The same concoction which I had in that bagel a while back. That's mainly because when we have carbonara it's cheaper to buy a big pack of bacons and a pack of mushrooms. So then we have left overs which happen to go very nicely together in a sandwich. Yummy yummy. I also had some sweetcorn because its one of your recommended five a day. And it's yellow?

Then I went on to watch three episodes of Lost while making my bed and not getting distracted by the iPad. It's like a puppy, I want to keep poking it to see what it'll do. Stuff. It'll do stuff. Then I had work. 3-10pm. That's all I have to say on the subject.

Then I watched this video on YouTube that was pretty friggin' awesome. I can't link to it on her because it'll make the formatting have a fit but search 'headsqueeze make glass disappear' and I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. I was somewhat amused to put it simply.

And one last thing, the candle burner Amy ordered us came! It's quite nice, have a look at it.

You put a Yankee Candle 'tart' in the top and a little tea light in the bottom. The tea light heats the tart and it melts and lets off its aroma. Pretty clever. Shall make my room smell lovely.

That's my lot for the day. Hope you have had a nice day. I'm sure you did. Blog you later.

I'm gonna wreck it!

Wreck It Ralph came out on DVD yesterday, good times! Amy really wanted it yesterday. I convinced her not to and surprised her with it today. Aren't I just lovely? And now my head is the size of a hot air balloon, the hot air being my ego. Metaphors.

Anyway, the day started as any other Tuesday would, with the addition of a butter scone. So which is it? Sc-on or sc-own. I'm a sc-on kind of guy. Because that's how you're supposed to say it. Amy also allowed me to look after her baby - iPad - for the day once again so I spent the morning enjoying massive YouTube! It is very cool that an iPad is basically a huge iPhone with the phone bit.. It's nice the have the same interface everywhere is what I am saying. I watched some more Jack Vale pranks, he seemed to do quite a few with a guy called Ed Bassmaster so I thought I would check out his channel. He had 400,000 more subscribers so I thought I had once again found lots of stuff to watch. Wrong! I don't understand why prank calls are funny. I get the idea but to me they are just sort of bleh. Just me.

My dad made me a ham and cheese toastie for lunch. My taste buds approved.

I also went to Tesco's on my own. Ahhh!? Well, I needed some bits and Amy needed some bits and I was bored so I thought I would do it. Killed 45 minutes. I've found whenever I go shopping on my own I'm either really efficient and find everything really quick, like today, or; I find nothing. I have no one to ask or bounce ideas off of so I just get nothing. Luckily today I found everything and added Wreck it Ralph to the equation.

Ta-da! Now go buy it. Tesco's is 24 hours, no excuses.

I then played some Dark Souls, watched some more videos, learned some new things. Watch Vsauce, you'll learn something new every video. Clever clever man. With a mighty fine beard.

Chicken and chips for tea. The chicken was rather good today, but we saved some for the cat. He really does have a good life, he can spend all day lounging around doing nothing in the sun and not get sunburn and comes home to a free chicken dinner. I can't remember the last time he paid his rent. My mum and did some gardening, and my cat just sort of say and watched them like 'what are these humans doing?' That's if cats even refer to us humans or things at all. Who knows if the inner workings of their brains identifies us as anything other than a food giver.

Then we watched Wreck It Ralph. It was still as good as when we watched it in the cinema. Apart from no 3D this time. I will have a 3D TV one day that is so big no normal table will hold it. Or a projector, just to be different.

One last thing - does anyone know where to buy Brothers cider in a box of like 6? Tesco doesn't seem to have them and I can't really recall seeing them anywhere else. I'm assuming they are exclusive to one shopping chain. Been craving some after having a couple when I went out to Tonbridge with Amy, Mr Tate and his lady friend.

Thank you for moving your eyes in such a fashion that you have reached this point. Much appreciated. Blog you later.

Guess its a short one today..

So it was Monday, didn't really have a lot to do. Amy let me have her iPad for the day as she had no use for it at school so I thought I would try and discover some new YouTubers so I could trawl through all of their old content to watch. That's the best thing for me when you find a new channel; it's like a gold mine as you haven't watched any of their videos.

Today I watched a load of videos from a guy called Jack Vale who is a YouTube prankster. He has a lot of simple yet funny pranks which he shows off. My favourite is probably the Vaseline high five. Simply cover your hand in Vaseline and then offer random people high fives. Jobs a goodun'. The best part is the reactions from the random public who are his prey. You never know how they'll react..

I had a reason to wear a suit today. I think I looked pretty scha-weet. I won't say why because.. Of superstition so. Got to take my new suit and shoes for a spin. Happy Matthew as I love to be suited up as Barney from HIMYM would say. Shame it was so hot though, made it pretty stuffy wearing the suit jacket.

I also played some more Dark Souls. Ahhh, yeah I am still into. All good fun. Also getting back into the mood for Sims 3 Pets as I feel my achievement hunter side growing anxious at the like of achievements I am getting. All the ones of Sims 3 take a lot of time in comparison to the payouts. Makes them feel like a real achievement. Oh yeah.

Amy got let out of work a little early today which is awesome as I got to pick her up early! Had spaghetti carbonara again because we love it so much. It's the bacon I'm pretty sure. Bacon is just good. Gurd. Om nom. Also mushrooms, we have a new found love for fresh mushrooms. Fry them up a little and bam, you've for a peppery healthy addition to your meal. Goes well with the sweet juiciness of the bacon. I should be a chef. I can cook 4 meals so that'll do. I'll be like that French restaurant which is literally one table in someone's living room. If she can charge full restaurant prices then she must be turning a hefty profit.

We then spent the evening relaxing and watching some TV, playing some games. We then went to Tesco's as Amy has been craving some cheese scones after we had one of my mum and dads from their shopping trip. They are some of the he's scones I've ever had. Nothing compared to home made because home made always wins. Simple. Came across this amazing deal on ice cream - so worth it.

99p or two for £3.99! Why didn't you say so? Just take my money now!

I said it would be a shorter one. The title warned you. Hush my reader friend. I shall blog you tomorrow, have a good day. I always forgot to say than. Now enjoy the running monologue in my head being immortalised into the Internet. Yeah. Bye. Outro!

Bon voyage to the half term..

I know I'm not at school anymore, but I still like half terms as Amy gets loads of time off! But now it's over so it kind of sucks. Bleh.

So as Amy mentioned when she blogged for me - thank you to her - and also she let me use her iPad; I had been having some issues with the app not working and the such. Thankfully the day after I said that there was an update on the App Store which said 'bug fixes.' Fixed! It would appear. Touch wood. Ahhhh. This app feels tiny compared to the one on the iPad though - mainly because it is but I think I need an iPad just for that. Wuha. Or a mini. I like the feel of it in my hand and its cheaper which is what I like.

So I thought I would save all of the weekends events to post all at once rather than one last night and today. More in one post for you all to have a gander at. I should get a wiggle on really as I have two days to cove and its 23:33! Can't be late. Only been late once. I had nightmares.

So Saturday, me and Amy started off being rather lazy to put it simply.. Just sort of looking on our phones.. On her iPad.. At stuff. We then sort of went on a supermarket hop because we are cool like that. First we headed to the Sainsbury's in Aylesford because we hadn't been to that one before. Also because we knew they sold crunchy bacon flavour things to chuck into a salad. I then wanted to go to PC World to have a play on the Surfaces. Finally, one was unlocked because as I'm sure a lot of you know - whenever you go to one of these tech shops the computers all time out and the password hint is 'shop.' No matter what you put in they never unlock! Ever! I was waiting to find an unlocked one to try the keyboard which appears to be a bit of fabric with buttons on it. Unfortunately the keyboard wasn't flat so it didn't work properly.. So I still don't know if I would get on with one.

I also took this picture in Sainsbury's because I thought it was funny that the honey was in a security protected box. There was more expensive wine and spirits on the shelf with nothing!

After that we headed to a Morrison's to try find some crunchy onion bits as there were none in Sainsbury's. This was to no avail so we then headed to Tesco's. Score - we found some there.

If you didn't guess already - we had a salad for lunch. We were intentionally being healthy because we were craving salad. If you add a dressing and all these crunchy bits then its a lot less healthy but it's a damn sight tastier. Had a salad on Saturday and Sunday, accept today we added some potato skins with bacon and cheese topping. So good. I love food. Too much maybe. I'm hungry. STAHP.

Also - a crisp with a hole in it. How? Tell me how.

It came out the packet like that, proof of this - try and do this at home. It's impossible not to break the crisp.

We also went to the Nisa in the high street as they have really cheap lean mince meat which is super tasty. And a lot healthier for you at the same time so it's win win all round really.

Amy cooked for me last night because she is so lovely. We had spaghetti bolognese with added mushroom and red onion. She made this for herself and her nan during the week and raved about how good it was - I quote - the best bolognese she had ever made. Naturally I wanted to put it to the test. She didn't lie. It's a good combo. Try it yourself - the lean mince is the secret. Saves you having all that fat mixed in with it, just tasty tasty meat. And the veg makes it crunchy and a little peppery, to me anyway. I sound like I know what I am on about..

I'm so hungry now.

We then watched Britain's Got Talent, last semi final! I really wanted Attraction and the ventriloquist to get through. Attraction did. But then that Irish guitar man got through. Meh. I hope the puppet man gets the wild card. People don't really appreciate how hard that really is to do. Don't get me wrong - singing and playing a guitar isn't easy but I'm sure more people could do that than speak with their mouth shut. Just saying.

My uncle and aunt also visited last night, we looked out the window to see the cat licking their car for some reason. No idea why. After that - he moved to the blue car to have a lick. Didn't like that so he went back to licking the other one. Animals.

He's the small black thing in front of the red car, just incase you needed help.

Today, was much more relaxed. Just stayed in, had a nice lay down. Had a chat. Some 'social' networking. Then my big idea was to go to Stonehouse field and read a book in the park. I'm full of good ideas. There were two people off to the side playing guitar and singing which was nice in the background. We then wanted to go to Basted duck pound but somehow I managed to go through Platt and come out on seven mile lane by Wrotham Heath. That's how I role. We got there in the end. There are some new baby coots. Cute. And the swan is still there. They seem to steer way clear of him. He's the kind of the pond! We then had that salad which I mentioned earlier.

Here's another picture of my cat choosing to lay in the wood clippings rather than somewhere clean like the decking. Because why the hell not?

It would appear I spent a good amount of time this weekend spying on my cat from the upstairs windows. That's all for today. Close to being late so, blog you later!
