Me and Amy visited the museum in Maidstone the other day. I hadn't been there in quite easily ten years but I could still remember all the rooms and the creaking steps and floor boards. All the actual things on display were different obviously but.. Memories. This dinosaur was definitely new. It looks somewhat surprised - probably because it just noticed that it's body seems to be missing..

I got this yesterday from H&M because I found it rather funny. This is a rare occurrence for me to actually buy some clothes.. I am horrendous at shopping so I think it's like a little personal triumph whenever I do. I got another purple shirt as well.

It's a sad day, as we say goodbye to out little kitty Speedy who was unwell. This is the last picture I took of him being cheeky after having slept on the chair all night. Gonna miss him.

Wildlife

Today me and Amy thought we'd do a good deed and do some recycling. The main reason we do it is because you can see how good your aim is by throwing the plastic stuff at the holes on the skip.. Also the glass stuff smashes. Sometimes. Only in the skip of course, don't want to mess up people's wheels. As the recycling place is off down towards where we go to feed the ducks, we thought we'd give then a visit as it had been a while. The rain has raised the level of their pond a lot but they were all happy as can be. The coots that were there were still young because they bickered over every single piece of bread we threw.. The ducks didn't seem all that bothered to eat at all.. Then what u really wasn't expecting to feed was a family if water rats. I quite like rats and have always wanted one as a pet but I'd never seen any by the pond before. They came quite close which I didn't expect but you'd throw some bread to them and they'd run away. Half a minute later they'll come back and drag the bread off to the clump of tree stumps where they seemed to have settled. Was not expecting to see them at all.

So my cat was in this morning, I was enjoying a bowl of Lucky Charms. The chair I was sitting in is where my Dad usually sits, and my cat likes a good fuss from my Dad. Then all of a sudden it looks like my cat wants to try my cereal out! I'm presuming that he wanted the milk more than anything but.. No, this is people food I'm afraid kitty.

Had a little trip out, went to Frankie and Benny's for tea - had my beloved chicken and prawn alfredo. We then went bowling and I was only a little bit uneven today.. I usually get to one score and then stay level for the rest of the games. Not today. But it's all in good fun, just never understand how the pins end up half way up the lane sometimes!

I was asleep and then quickly awakened for whatever reason - possibly for not doing my blog before hand! Have a look at this lovely looking book, looks good if I do say so myself. I got this book today for my birthday, the big ol' 21! Or so they say.. Super tired so.. I'll probably get into more detail in a later post.

My cat is a little silly, we think he's loosing the plot now he's getting older. He's 15 which is about 135 in cat years. He's been banned from the house for a while after a little mishap wth a rug which he isn't very fond of - I'll leave it at that. So today, he was allowed in all day and he slept in his bed for the whole day. Didn't even get up for lunch I was told. He didn't sleep in the bed though; it looks like he thought about getting up and just kinda gave up half way. Don't blame him, sleep is awesome.

So I am a 20, nearly 21 year old man - and I watched the Lego movie. For those who have also seen it, a little inside joke.. You could say.. Everything was awesome.

Cuppycakes

So Amy made some cupcakes this weekend. We all ate some and gifted the rest to a friend as a birthday gift.. And he's lucky because they were really quite tasty. A light fluffy cupcake mix with a hint of vanilla with thick lemon frosting with lemon crunchy bits and crunchy heart. I helped a little bit mainly by popping the frosting onto the cake and then cleaning stuff.. Amy baked and Tate helped her decorate by spreading the frosting.. All be it my influence was minimal - there's a little bit of my effort in them. Good to know.

First off, happy valentines day to the people reading this. Paperchase is an awesome shop with loads of really quirky little things and really awesome cards. Very original ones that cost less than the ones in other shops. Amy went in there and bought me a card for valentines.. And I went in there and bought a card for our anniversary.. This is on two completely seperate occasions so we didn't see what we had bought each other - naturally. Somehow we picked the same card design. Ones a lot darker and ones bigger and the message is different but.. The cards are practically identical. We both said the reason we picked the card was because they had stars on them. Tad awkward but now they've buddied up on one of the shelves in my room.

Waiting..

So as you may well know, and can see.. We have seasons 1-8 of How I Met Your Mother and we actually finished watching it all this weekend just gone by. And now it's horrible because we have to wait for the new episodes to air every week. It's the awkward balancing act between having it all available and binge watching it too quick - but then you hate waiting for the regular release.. We've gone back to Gavin and Stacey again because we just love it.

Buttered

We bought a French stick on the weekend and then sort of ran out of ideas for it.. So yesterday it was better used as a weapon than food. Until my dad thinks otherwise. He made two mini bread and butter puddings from it and from what I could tell it was good. I'm not a fan of it myself but I couldn't deny it looked pretty awesome. And the speed at which my mum and dad ate their portions, I can only assume it's good.

So Apple Tv is awesome. We already know that. What I've only recently found out after Amy played with it a little is that you can use the Apple TV to extend your desktop. Which is awesome. You get another screen which is your TV. I find it really useful as I can always watch videos on the TV and then play games on the general screen whilst all being sourced from one place. The only issue is that it's a little confusing moving the mouse right off of the Mac screen and it'll appear in front of me in the other side of the room.. It's still awesome.

So as some of you may well know, yesterday was mine and Amy's 3 year anniversary and this is what she got me. And I love it. Orange is probably my second favourite colour behind purple and I love how it looks next to black. I caught it just as it's turning over to being the 10th as I took the picture a bit late. I really do like it though. Shall be wearing this every day!

3 Years!

Today marks my 3 year anniversary with Amy which is just awesome. We spent the day at Bluewater and I bought this cookie to commemorate. It was supposed to take about an hour and a half but it ended up taking around 2.. It's so good though. As are all Millie's Cookies. And as it says, it really has been 3 wonderful years!

So Amy was kind enough to pick these up for me because she knows I like randoms like - way too much. I didn't even know they made different types of randoms other than the foamy word things. I don't like them too much. These were nice, they're all sugar coated and sour but.. If you've ever had normal random there are some with like this.. Paste type stuff in them. The sour versions of them will hurt your taste buds when you try them. Serious. Still good though.

It would appear I am rather unwell so lemon Beechums is on the agenda! I've never had any sort of Beechums before but I have had it recommended by a lot of people.. Only thing is is that I am terrible at drinking hot things. I can generally only take one gulp every now and then. No idea why but that's just how I work.

So I'm pretty sure it's just a universal thing when ordering a Chinese - you get too much. Then again Chinese food is really filling anyway but you always seem to have a tonne left over. Or breakfast. It's like payng for two meals in one. I had chicken chow mein and the spring roll is a duck spring roll. Anyone who knows me personally will probably be surprised because I love ducks and generally refuse to eat duck. They're too nice - chickens are evil and out number us 6-1 so.. Eat them to stop the uprising. I tried it. I hate to say I liked it. Ducks are just awesome in life and death. A thank you to Amy as this picture is taken with her phone - mine keeps crashing upon open the camera app.. Not very useful for taking a picture everyday for a year!

Hell, I know that I posted a picture of Flappy Birds yesterday but this little rivalry I had with a friend.. A third friend has joined in. It just got real. Literally 3 tries after the score I posted I got this one so.. At the moment this is the highest of the three but I'm not expecting it to last. I don't want it to last - makes it all the more challenging you see. Not that I don't play it anyway, I have playing my battery into oblivion but it passes the times.

So you've probably seen many a thing about this new game 'Flappy Birds' and after trying it on a friends phone - I thought if download it. It'sighty addicting and now I am in a head to head score battle with a friend. 

See I was supposed to upload this Saturday night but it would seem I pressed save as draft rather than publish.. Hence why this will most likely be time stamped for the Sunday. Apologies.
