So this.. Showed up? In the car park where I park for work.. Fills me with confidence.

Suave
Day 394
Look at me in a nice swanky jacket eh? I didn't buy it because it was £55 and I'm focusing funds on the America trip right now.. Makes sense. If this is still here when I get back then it's a maybe. A maybe. This ones a little snug though..

Teeny Mush
Day 390
Good evening, morning afternoon and order of times when you may be reading this from the time it is posted. Ha.
See below for a teeny tiny mushroom. This is from a Zizzi's trip we had during the week, I fancied trying something different to pasta. I had roast chicken and mushroom risotto and to put it simply.. It was a bit underwhelming if anything. Chicken is great. Mushrooms are also great in my books.. But this.. Didn't quite do it for me. Some of the rice was under/overcooked and rather crunchy. It's not horrible but I would've preferred something else. Still like me a Zizzi's.
I actually bought some clothes today. But in true non-shopper style I bought 6 shirts from Primark for under £20. Because they were nice and simple and plain and get the job done. They cover my too half, are baggy so they won't be uncomfortable under the American sun and in a range if colour choices. Awesome.
America soon by the way. I really need to check with O2 how the phones will work when we're out there actually.. I'd really not like to take a 2 week hiatus from my blog.
Skittles are giving away 110 Xbox Ones at the moment. I on the other hand got one of 1,000,000 3 dat Xbox Live Gold trials which I already have paid a year for. Now I get an extra 3 days. Excellent.
I'm findng it hard to sleep at the moment as it is rather hot.. Hence why this post is going to be a lot longer than you might expect. It is giving me something to do; at the moment it is a conscious monologue of my thoughts. To be fair, you probably don't mind if you've made it this far down.
I've watched all of Full Metal Alchemist this is available on the old Netflix which sucks.. Because it doesn't come to any conclusion. There is still more to watch but I can't unless I do it by other means which I don't really fancy. At least with Netflix it's just there ready in good quality but now I feel like I am missing out on the ending as I am pretty sure I was near to it.
Guess I should try to off to the land of nod, good night.

Lego!
Day 388
Just watched this. It's really good, watching it again I never noticed how many big actors and actresses they had for the voices.. It's pretty crazy. It's also a really good film which has this weird serious ending when it spans into real life.. You'll get what I mean if you've seen it. This is the second copy we've owned as one is new residing else where. Accidentally.

Croc
Day 387
It's a friggin' crocodile made out of elastic bands. I mean seriously? It's crazy all the stuff that people can make.. This was by my dad.

Blank
Day 386
I bought this from The Works today, it is basically just a drawing pad but completely blank on the cover as well, as you can see. I used to do a lot of doodling. I mean - excessive amounts. My plan is to cover this pad in doodles and then the inside with drawings. It will take a long long time but I am sure I will manage it at some point.
Worst part is that this was £12.99 at full price - I paid £2.99. Bargain.

Meet Punky. From my local Indian, he's full of ice cream and you get to keep him. Tired, night.

Tux
Day 384
Look at this tux. It is so cool, it is going to have pride of place on my desk at work. The band snapped in my pocket holding it all together earlier but luckily we got it all stuck back in!

Ooer
Day 383
Don't worry, I didn't take this picture whilst driving. Amy did. It best part about the picture is that the traffic light still works, but they still put the hood over it like they were trying to calm a wild animal. I really have no clue how they managed to hit this set of lights just because of where it was but.. They did. Most definitely.
I got the orange hooch today, can't wait to try that. I am being good though, out this one in the fridge to give it time to call down unlike the black current one. I think it's going to be really good. I enjoyed a strawberry and lime rekordelig earlier which was mighty fine in this hot weather.
Apparently there was a carnival type thing going on in Maidstone which started like.. 2 hours late. It was supposed to start at 12 and we were there and there was supposed to be free stuff.. We saw none of it. But then we saw it on Facebook. Great planning.
And remember, just give.

Lightning
Day 382
First off, I would like to say a thank you to all of my work colleagues who took an interest in my blog. Was odd seeing other people physically looking through it but thank you. And everyone else who looks as well!
So turns out my blog is up to about 12,000 views.. And then for some strange reason my Google+ page is over 37,000 views! That's crazy. It makes no sense. Unless there is something very interesting about my page that I cannot perceive as it is mine.. Pfft. I'll take it.
Lighting is so awesome! It's probably the main reason I wanted to go to university to learn about it because I love it so much. It's just like zap and stuff. It took me a lot of tries to get the picture, which I ended up just recording and then screen shorting. Cheating a little bit but it worked so it's fine by me. It looks amazing.
Some science for you. Lighting is caused by the particles in the clouds rubbing together generating static electricity. All of a suddent this discharges creating electricity which super heats the surrounding air. This then expands so quickly it makes an explosion - or thunder. Love it. I was lucky to grab it forking.
And remember, just give.

5K
Day 381
So yesterday I shared some information about our fun run that we are taking a part in. It's for The Heart of Kent Hospice and we are hoping to raise a total of £1000. We are hoping we make more but that would still be fantastic.
Here's the route that we are going to be running as far as I can tell and people will be all around the edges.. Ready with paint.. To cover us in it. It's water soluble so it'll come straight off but I am looking forward to the pictures afterwards!
I'll be sharing the link to the Just Giving page on my blog until then in an attempt to help raise funds.

Doggy
Day 379
I didn't take this picture. I said I would get a picture of the doggy Amy made and I did.. Just from her phone instead of mine. I helped with the eyes and ears; my little claim to fame.

Armour
Day 378
I haven't drawn anything in a while.. And watching Fullmetal Alchemist has given me something really interesting.. Which I may draw.. Who knows.

Turtle
Day 377
So somehow I forgot to post this picture of a loom turtle. This was the first one that my dad made, since then he had made some other stuff.. Amy has also made some more but I forgot to take a picture of then so.. I shall have to remember to do that soon.
I have finished with the first season of Attack on Titan completely now. Very much hoping for more because it held my attention better than a hell of a lot of programes. Saying that, there is also a new series if Hemlock Grove out.. Completely online and fully available at the moment - which is awesome. I shall have to get that on the go soon. Since I have watched some anime though.. I'm trying out Fullmetal Alchemist which is strange. It's like.. Full on all out fighting with strange comedy mixed in. Plenty to watch though.
Germany won the World Cup. I expected as much, they have been playing very well.

The Double
Day 375 & 376
Not going to lie. I fully intended to do a blog yesterday but I fell asleep. In between my arms aching and it being the end of the week and stuff.. I just wiped out and didn't get my phone. So here's a double picture. Exciting.
The first is Amy's most recent loom creation which is quite clearly a snake. It was a bit of a fiddle to make as some of the bands kept pinging off somehow unbeknown to us. Finally, it all stuck together. It's only held together by about 2 knots or something.. Otherwise it would just fall to pieces. It is hung up with all of Amy's bracelets.
The second picture is black current Hooch. I really like lemon Hooch, now they have orange and black current. This is the newer flavour but I always like things of that flavour so I decided to try that first. Also as they're weren't on offer so.. Thought I would just get one. It is really nice, it just tastes like squash with a bit of a kick. I would recommend it of course.
Went out for a birthday meal today, a couple of days belated but still all the same. The plan was TGI's but they said no to bookings.. Then when we got there.. Said they were fully booked. Which is cheeky. Ended up going to Giraffe which was.. Okay. The food is really good, don't get me wrong but for the amount you get; not atop my list. I had risotto with prawns, chicken and chorizo which came to £11.95. It was nice. But there could've been a bit more for that much..
Thankfully; my arms are easing in now. Thank the lords!

Monkey
Day 374
So looks are a thing. Amy and my Dad have gotten into them, below is a picture of a monkey made entirely of elastic bands. It's really clever how it works because it holds itself together entirely, no need to tie stuff or anything. Amy is hopefully going to make me a tiny tuxedo out of them for my key ring, I just need to find the right colours. I still would really like a tie as well.. But that would take a hell of a lot of bands as they are so small.
Attack on Titan is just getting better and better. It's something that really is to a niche market though, even for those anime fans out there. I would highly recommend it especially as it is only 20 minutes an episode. Don't like it - you loose 20 minutes. Like it.. There's another 7 hours to watch.

Little Fox
Day 372
So today I was out a friends house helping them out with something, so naturally, I didn't watch the football? What do I miss? 7-1 to Germany, distorting the home nation! I will watch the highlights tomorrow but.. I can't imagine how they'll have the will power for the third place play off. Who knows?
Today's picture, as you can see below, is of a fox. I am going to presume a baby fox as not many adult ones would happily lay down and have a nap in an open space like this. Especially as this garden should smell like dog as it is my neighbours garden - who has a dog. It happily laid there for a long time scratching and stuff.. Then disappeared as quick as a flash when the dog returned. It's not the best picture, I have a better one on Amy's camera but for now yeah. Cute little thing.
Currently indulging myself in more Attack on Titan.. It's so good. It's such a unique concept which started of small as a lot of popular things do. Now from what I understand a second series is being looked into. I know I'm not even half way through the first but I'd like there to be more.

Shiny Brows
Day 371
The picture below is of Amy - obviously. She asked for me to use this picture specifically, we were in Pizza Express and as you can see - something was shining on her head. Not entirely sure what but it was just right is I took a picture. Clearly.
I used to be a real Pizza Hut fanboy but since the taste card has made Express a lot more affordable.. I may be converted. It's nice to have a formal meal with.. Seemingly unformal food. The mushroom bruschetta they have as a starter is like.. My favourite thing ever! It's amazing. The bread is think and puffy but cuts nicely and the mushrooms and the sauce.. Oh yes please. If you are a fun of mushrooms, give it a try!
Went for another run this morning. I have a route sort of planned out for the timescale I am running at the moment it works out just right as I finish at my house as the warm down walk finishes which is nice. I can't wait to be able to run for a half hour period.
I am currently watching Attack on Titan which is an anime about humanity being attacked by titans. It's really interesting and I've heard a of about it / turns out it is on Netflix. Awesome. I'll keep you updated.

Titans
Day 370
Played a lot more Titanfall and I am getting into it now. It is a strange mix having real opponents and then the obviously.. Redundant AI which is there to add extra experience income and stuff. They pose no real threat to a player who is paying attention. I really think they missed a big design idea in having a solo multiplayer, especially with such a unique game mechanic. I think they could have done something rather good with it. Not that it is bad at the moment - very enjoyable!
Just started watching the second season of American Horror Story. Enjoying it already, it's clever as they've kept the same cast but put them in different roles so.. You already know who you're watching but it's a completely different story than before.
Must sleep. Running in the morning. Oosh.

Carrots..
Day 369
I am watching the football again currently but.. It's in extra time so it is a very good game.
We went to Bluewater today to do some shopping and stuff. I was looking to get some running shoes or something along those lines but the cheapest were about £80! Not really looking to pay that much at this early stage, maybe further down the line if keep running up - who knows? We tried something new also, joov. I thought it would be tasty and healthy.. Mine was.. Questionable. I chose lemon splash, but as you can see below it was orange, that's because it has carrot in it. I would have liked a lot more lemon, I love the sharp flavour.. But there were so many bits in it I found myself chewing. Amy had a tropical one which she was happy with. I still didn't fancy that either.
I also bought Titanfall today which is really good - but it is such a team based game you have to get a team together or rely on luck. Games like Call of Duty you can carry your team if you are good enough but this - no way. Very enjoyable though, a completely different concept to have everything even the story being multiplayer also. Does make it harder to complete all the story missions but who doesn't like a challenge?
Amy now has tamodchi life for the 3DS. It is really different in terms of games that I am used to, especially ones for the handheld consoles. It speaks the names that you give and has set dialogue and stuffs.. Some of the voices are pretty creepy. Looks enjoyable, that's the main thing.
Penalties
And that is Amy's hand in the background jumping into the picture.

Sky
Day 368
Look at this lovely picture of the sky. I am currently watching the football so I shall let myself get on.

Shiny Shiny
Day 367
So today, was a normal day - work and stuff. Apart from this morning, I was awake a lot earlier than usual to go for a run. Type thing. I am using an NHS App called couch to 5k to get you running 5km in 9 weeks. This is in preparation for a fun run with work called the Rainbow run. It's for charity and you get paint thrown all over you. Awesome. I just need to get some nice running shoes for now.
So Murray was out of the tennis yesterday, it's a shame but apparently he was no where near his best otherwise 3 straight sets.. Nuh uh. Even his opponent said he was not right, I'm not supporting Djokovic because he is rather good anyway. Plus - we still have some Brits in the mixed doubles so who knows?
I've recently got back into playing Plants vs. Zombies. I really like the community driven feel to the game, free updates with new games and maps and characters! Most games that is a holiday addition otherwise you pay for it. This is just nice, and so casual to play. No stress.. Just enjoyment.
So today's picture, is of Mr Tom playing with Amy's camera taking pictures of his new toy - a new car. And I tell you what, the pictures came out really well. Did it some real justice.

Lola
Day 366
So what did I get up to today? Well I went for a ride in my friends new car, very snazzy. Brand new Golf GTD which is so smooth and shiny and lovely. It's an automatic and I've never really thought about driving one - I always wanted to learn manual so I could drive anything if the needs be. Apparently automatics are much nicer. Who knows? I'll have to drive one in America soon enough! We went to Asda and as it was spontaneous.. N be apart from me had their wallet.. The bank of Matt eh?
I also bumped into a friend who is back from university for the summer. The picture is of his lovely doggy Lola. She is so friendly and happily jumps up to meet you - for a couple of seconds.. Then sniffs everything. It's pretty sweet.
Totally fell asleep typing this. Not..
To get her to sit still we pretended to have a treat which she patiently awaited even though it was a piece of grass. Nearly ate it anyway!

The Year
DAY 365
So, a year ago I decided to challenge myself to post a picture every day for a year. And it looks like.. I have actually managed to do this. Looking back it the pictures paints a nice timeline which brings back a lot of memories.
Thinking about it now - what have I done in this last year? I've got a new job which I love. Me and Amy are in the process of booking our first holiday abroad, no bars held either - America. I've been to Thorpe Park numerous times, Alton Towers, Chessington, Lego Land, various Sea Life centres, Cadbury world. I've joined a gym! Something I never thought I would do, turns out I feel better already. It burns a bit. But it will be worth it. It's strange looking back at a year and thinking about what you've actually done.
So now - you may be wondering where I plan to go from here.. I honestly haven't thought that all the way through yet. There's a surprise. I'm thinking - more photos. Keep that going. I want to push myself to expand though, post stuff I've been thinking about alongside. Make it a bit more than a 5 second glance.
But thanks. I do like my blog.
