63

Day 63
So.. Yeah, it's just about September but the shop where I work doesn't care! Skip Halloween and ignore fireworks night.. Straight to Christmas. Go for it.

Da pic

Day 62
Once again I failed to acquire a picture, good thing I have a stock of Harry Potter stuff to fall back on. This 'set' is actually very small. It was designed to be used in one scene only and in such a way that web filmed, it would look about 45 foot long. In reality it's probably no longer than I am tall. Perspective is an important thing.

Lego

Totally went to Lego Land today, I don't even care how old I am. It was free with the pass so why not?

The drive there was really quite horrible.. There was lots of traffic and we got stopped for ages.. Then there were a load of crazy drivers which kept cutting me up or just generally being douches. I have come to terms with it now because.. I got there and it doesn't matter but I just don't understand why some people do what they do. And they say that young people are the dangerous drivers? RANT.

Anyway, we got there and walked in and I honestly felt like a little kid again, I just wanted to be one of the ones running around looking at everything screaming 'it's so cool!' I can do it in my head, I acted like a mature adult I'm afraid. There will be no viral videos of me. We walked around the mini village first, I know it's been there for ages and I have been before but for the life of me I could not remember it at all. It seems like the type of thing that I should remember but I just couldn't. So I guess it was a good thing because I got to enjoy that again like it was the first time seeing it.

We had a little ride on the sky rail.. It was most definitely not called that but I honestly have no clue as to it's real name. Some people waved at us and I had to resist doing the royal wave back. Otherwise, the place was packed. The queues were completely filling up the designated areas and then shooting off up the side of the footpaths. We just wondered around, then decided to head home. Just to once again be tailgated by an impatient driver who ending up speeding off on the wrong side of the road because the speed limit was too good for him.

We stopped off at our favourite services, Cobham on the M25.. We didn't have a burrito today; just stopped for a toilet break. Then we quite happily toddled off home.

Then we were bored again. So we thought we would go and see a film and have some food. We went to the Pizza Hut at the Dockside Outlet Centre in Chatham and it all started off fine.. We got the pizza and then our table disappeared off the face of the Earth apparently. They literally ignored us until it got to the point we wanted to pay. Unlimited refills is pointless when no one comes over to offer you a refill. After we finished we were waiting a good 10 minutes anyway. I don't want to be mean and rant again but it was quite annoying, it made me feel like I'd done something to offend them therefore earning me no service. Maidstone Pizza Hut is still the best. Yeah.

We saw 'The Way Way Back' and it was just darn amazeballs. Yes - #amazeballs. I was a bit skeptical as right at the start they had a hashtag and a Facebook page up on the screen asking you to let them know what you thought. But it turned out to be one of the better films we'd seen this year. It's about a young boy on summer vacation with his mum and her new boyfriend and how he comes into his own person by working at a water park. Reading that really doesn't make it sound all that exciting but it is really worth watching, I felt quite involved in the film just from watching it. Watch it!

Thanks for taking a looksie on here today, I haven't mentioned this for a while but the Blog is pretty close to 6,000 views now so.. Ahh cool. Thanks. Blog you later.

Day 61
I was planning on using one the pictures we took today but as we were out again we didn't get a chance to whack them onto the Mac so.. Here is another one from the wonderful world of Harry Potter. They had the set of Dumbledor's office and when I walked in the first thing I said was 'Where is Fawkes?' because he was always in there.. But a bit further round the tour we found him. They had him in the creatures section which makes sense. Still would have been nice for him to be in the office - just my opinion.

A quick snap

Day 60
Feels strange knowing this has gone on for 60 days in a row. But it has. And here it continues. 300 or so more to go. That's a lot of pictures. Anyway, here's another one from the Harry Potter studios. This door that they made for the bank was hand made and actually works. It was used twice in the entire series 10 years apart which was pretty mind boggling. Now it's just sitting there waiting to be out away I guess. Like all of the stuff there. It does mean that eventually there won't be a Harry Potter studios your but they have so much stuff it should mean you can see something new upon returning visits.

Supermarket

Once again we were confronted with the fact that we couldn't think of anything to do. It just seems when it is getting to the end of the summer holiday all of your ideas are burnt out or.. Done. Started off the day with a bacon sandwich which was huge - it was basically half a baguette filled with bacon. Amy's dad got them for us from his favourite food van and I can now see why. Gorgeous.

We thought we would go and get a board game form that new toy shop that has opened up in Aylesford - Smyths - but that was to no avail. It's not that they were lacking board games, it was they were lacking one which was reasonably priced that we actually wanted to play. Turns out there is another version of Monopoly out where you buy brands instead of properties, pretty good idea I must say. The little player pieces are gold on that one.

I really like playing Monopoly, the originals problem is that it goes on for too long, you have to be the only person not bankrupt to win. And once everyone owns little bits of the board and has hotels and what not.. It takes a really long time or a lot of luck for the game to finish in an enjoyable time. The new ones have better ways of winning like first to an ex amount of money and the such.. Rolling with the times. Short attention spans of teenagers. They need tech!

We then went to Asda and got Ellie Goulding's album. Pretty good value, 20 or so songs for £10 which is a lot better than most of the CD's you get. Also bought Mean Girls as it's one of Amy's favourite films and I hadn't seen it. I have now. I enjoyed it. Just a good thing that real school life is completely like that.. Just a little bit.

We also went to Tesco's for some roasties because they are so yummy. We needed something to go with our tea of chicken gridlers and couscous because the plate would have been a bit bland and empty. We also got a 12 pack of Fosters Radler for £6 which was a bargain, we're going to a BBQ on Saturday so now we can bring our own booze you might say.

After tea we wacthed 90210. Yup. Turns out there is like.. Another 10 episodes even though so much is already going on which surprised me.. They must have a hell of a lot of funding because the series will be about 20-24 episodes long or something. It is the last season though so it'll go out with a bang! And then we watched Mean Girls.

Voila! That's my day today. Blog you later.

Day 59
So there is this game called The Binding Of Isaac and I have watched people play it on YouTube since it has been released and.. I've also wanted to play it but I have never had a computer which is able to do so. Amy now having this Mac asked if it would work on here.. I didn't even think of that. Turns out it does and I can now play it. Not too much because this is still Amy's toy but I am very thankful to be able to play it. It is really hard to get used to but there is going to be another version released on the Xbox at the end of the year or next year. I think I'll be a lot better at that and I really can't wait for it. Woo!

Mind blank..

So, to put it simply - we couldn't think of anything to do. At first we just lounged around, had a shower each and watched some of the Food Network. Easily my new favourite channel, it just makes me want to go to America to eat everything!

We had no idea what to do with ourselves. Ended up playing a little bit of Minecraft with Mr Tate; unfortunately I felt a headache coming on and thought it best to stop. Covered my eyes, had some dark time to calm my brain. We then decided to just get out the house - destination Bluewater.

I find bank holidays funny because more people will have time off work to go out and shop, but all the shops shut early or don't open. Seems strange. Bluewater stays open until 7 and we got there with plenty of time to wonder around. Amy got another Yankee Candle which we burnt as soon as we got in - a Bahama breeze scent. It's nice and relaxing. She also got some other bits - you'll see one later.

With the boredom from earlier in the day came hunger and a lack of enthusiasm to cook. We ventured back to Chimi Changa because we were so impressed last time. I tried a chorizo and cheese quesadilla - the word I couldn't spell last time. It wasn't as good as the paella, but I thought I should try something different. Kind of tastes like pizza. Amy went for the BBQ pork quesadilla again, that was so much tastier. To me anyway, she also agrees. We were good and opted for tap water to save money and to be healthy. Mainly the money. Kept it under £20.

The way the tables were positioned meant I was basically opposite another couple about 4 metres away.. And she kept offering him rewards for eating food he didn't like. Between arguments. It was quite strange. Each to their own?

That'll be all for today. Thanks for having a look. Blog you later.

Day 58
This is something that Amy bought for me. I'm not really all that into aftershaves and what not but I used to have this one back at school. It was a Christmas present and Amy remembered the smell of it and really liked it so she treated me. The bottle in the middle was £16 or this set for £20 so.. Value is value!

Rain..

So as you may or may not know, we went to Chessington yesterday - Saturday if you aren't reading this on Sunday. I won't go into a lot of detail because we are going again on Thursday and I'd like to go into more detail about it then because we sort of got rained out yesterday.. We got there at about half 9 and it was drizzling and we thought nothing of it.. We ended up leaving about 2 because it was pouring it down. We were soaked. It was ridiculous. We still got to do most of the rides but some were't running properly because of the rain and what not.. We plan to do them all properly on Thursday weather permitting. Oh well.

We then decided to all go back to mine, by all I mean me Amy and Mr Tate. We thought we could watch some films, have general good times and stuff. We watched Inception, I am pretty sure I understood it - I know people say you need to watch it more than once but I'm pretty sure that I got it. I would like to watch it again because it was very good anyway.

Amy made macaroni cheese for tea, she made the sauce herself and everything. It was really tasty. It was quite rich because there was a lot of cheese but I love cheese. There was also bacon - and bacon is bacon. It was very good. I want some more right now. I was full up but there was some leftover and I managed to squeeze that in as well.

As for today, we went to the cinema to see We Are The Millers and it was fantastic. It was another genuinely funny film which was nice. I won't spoil anything for anyone so.. Yeah. Definitely go and see it.

That's where I'll leave it today. Bank holiday tomorrow, something interesting will happen I'm sure. Blog you later.

Day 57
So this should portray how wet we actually got.. My jacket weighed a tonne after all the rain had got in to it. It is still drying now I'm pretty sure.
