Rawr

Day 485
Rawr! Did some Xmas shopping today also. G'night.

Caught Fire

Day 484
So, today I watched the second Hunger Games and it was pretty good. Took it's time to get into the bulk of the film.. Which I didn't realise was 2 and a half hours long.. But it was very good. I really think I would like the books, and I can understand why they're breaking the third into two. Not because they like making money but they want to get as much in as possible.

Minion!

Day 483
Good morrow internet, happy Monday. It's always funny going back to work after the clocks go forward, or at school. None of the clocks are ever right and no one wants to change them. Mainly because the mail they hang from on the wall disappears as soon as you want to put it back!

Played some badminton also. We usually get roughly 6 people as a turn out.. Today.. 11. We managed to book two courts but we then really needed 3! Fun times, exercise as well.

Today's picture is thanks to Amy. You can make shirt patterns on Animal Crossing. Amy used a hammerbead pattern from a YouTube video to make a little minion shirt. Awesome.

More Weekendy Things

Day 480, 481 and 482
It's only another classic weekend post.

I say weekend, although this includes Friday. Now I don't really count this as the weekend as it is still part of the working week. It is officially recognised by a lot of businesses as the weekend but.. Each to their own and what not.

Friday night we had a lovely pasta bake. Nothing fancy, just out the jar and into the oven, I know their like minimal effort but hey, it's good stuff.

We proceeded to the cinema to see Love Rosie which I thought was going to be quite girly. It was - but I enjoyed it. It was still quite funny, there was a guy on his own next to us which I found odd.. And he kept blurring out commens loudly such as 'of course you are.' What you see below is a free bowl which you get when buying two chocolate bags, I went magic stars and biscuit M&Ms.

We popped into Maidstone for a bit on Saturday. Had a wander, and a McDonalds. As you do. We were supposed to be viewing a flat but that fell through, problem with.. Getting in.. Which is obviously problematic with a viewing. The only thing I don't like about Maidstone this time of year is how busy it is. It is busy enough throughout the year but when you've got everyone crammed in for Christmas shopping then.. Dang. A Christmas shop has popped up down Fremlins as they do.

Popped into Asda on the way home, got some bits of tea etc. I also bought this shirt. I love Ghostbusters, and am a little nervous about this reboot type thing they're planning. I am all up for a third one and have nothing wrong with an all female cast but - I really don't know. Just hope they don't try and make it a modern comedy. Keep it the same as before, and now one of the original writers is no longer there.. Despite this it is the 30 year anniversary so I get new merchandise - happy times.

And we watched Strictly. Whilst eating our tea which was some buffalo wings. They were pretty tasty. We have been getting ribs and stuff recently which we've never really done before. I now want to try and make my own pulled pork which would be awesome; buying it anyway is tasty. I want to pop in a slow cooker for an entire day so it just falls to pieces.

Today we chilled mainly. Enjoyed the extra hours sleep. I played some Borderlands and Destiny. We also went out for tea to Prezzo as we haven't been in such a long time. I tried something new for my main - chicken, asparagus and mushroom risotto. It was good. Like; so good. I want more now. I really had a craving for some crunchy veggies and I knew asparagus was.. Not that I've ever had it before. Worth it!

The third picture I will share with you today is of the shadow made by the window. We've popped decorations on which basically stick straight into the window like gel. Then they peel off ready to be used again next year. It flipped around the word boo to be the right way around - bonus.

On Internet

Day 479
So, Walking Dead. It's just so good, I think my favourite part is how they can always interlink all the storylines even though they appear completed separate. Really no idea what that preacher man is hiding either..

We headed over to Cosmo for tea, the all you can eat Chinese buffet. It was so tasty and the people who work there are always nice. Very tasty food for a buffet which is always an added bonus. I say it all the time but when it's mass produced.. You expect the quality to dip.

And I leave you with this.

Enough internet for one day.

Stylish

Day 476 and 477
Windy today eh? Caught the tailed of the hurricane and I hate it.. You can really feel it when you're driving. All safe though is the main thing. Just a couple of trees and fence panels damaged here and there.

So, Amy got me a new stylus for my DS as the tiny clip bit had broken.. So as soon as it turned sideways it would slide out. And it's telescopic so what's not to like?

Also showcasing another treat from America, some shops do sell these in England but they tend to be the specialist ones and make them expensive. Yeah. They are still solid chocolate but some strange way of changing the flavour to be like cake. Science.

Sorry I missed yesterday. Just fell asleep, no beating around the bush. Flat out.

Weekend 3's

Day 473, 474 and 475
I don't really understand why I like doing these triple posts. They feel like a nice way to round off and recap the weekend. Plus it frees me up a little if I am out Friday/Saturday night because I'm not worried about a 3G connection. You'll be surprised, it's not everywhere. Edge sucks.

Anyway, I have borrowed two pictures from the interwebs for this one and you'll see what when we get to it. The first I will go with is one that has literally no relevance to the weekend it. It's just majestic as something. Something replaces a word which I will stop myself posting on here.

Just look at that pug. Me and Amy really want a sausage dog in the future, they're always so happy and sausage like. And cute - I think that's more appropriate than sausage like.

This second picture explain itself!

A Gogglebox book! I can't quite tell if it is official, I am pretty sure it's all genuine stuff in there but it doesn't appear to be from Channel 4 themselves. It's got a load of quotes and actual stories about the families involved which is interesting. It's strange because they are just normal people reacting as anyone would. Saying it like that - the show should really not be popular on paper. Who cares? It works. I love it. Plus, we got it for £9 instead of £19.

Watched Doctor Who and I really liked it. Like, a lot. This episode really caught my attention, the story of it and all that jazz. I really liked the CGI for the creatures that were created. I also like that you can see the conflict that is going between the characters where Clara is becoming more like him - desensitised to it all. And Scott Mills can't dance, but darn it I love it.

This last picture is also borrowed but the actual picture does it more justice.

Love me some Borderlands - and you can actually play as CL4P-TRP. And he is awesome, his special ability looks at your current situation and then mimics another characters ability, so you never know what is going to happen. It's the classic experience that you got from the others, funny and inappropriate a lot of the time! I don't know why there was so little in terms of advertising. I guess they just trusted their fan base to buy it. Worked for me.

Batman

Day 471
Totally went to Lakeside today. The drive up there was.. Miserable. The traffic is always bad, if wasn't even the time of day I would expect it to be. It's was around about half 3 but.. Yeah. It worked.

Did some shopping. We also had a Nando's. It was one of the nicest ones we've been to but the service sort of let it down.. The chicken stayed on our table the entire time, it should be taken away! It was still very good. Dang tasty. Liking the wraps there more and more.

I'm watching Batman. Luckily a friend at work allow me to borrow it as I only have the second. Happy times.

Tuesday 14 October 2014

Wet?

Day 470
So.. This is what happens when the car park where I work gets a bit of rain.. It's the bottom of a hill so I can't blame it in all fairness.

Monday 13 October 2014

Jumper

Day 469
Evening people of the internet. Don't you just love rain? See, I have a nice waterproof jacket which I've been sung but it doesn't fit over the top of my suit jacket. So I bought the below jumper, lovely. Ignore the facial expression if you please. Put it on today, there are holes at the stitching under the left armpit. Dang.

Went out for a curry - I say 'a' curry lightly as it was a buffet so you can have whatever and as much as you want obviously. It was very tasty, had some prawns for the starter and then mainly tikka and korma because I know I like them. I also got a discount through work. Bonus!

Sunday 12 October 2014

4-1=3

Day 466, 467 and 468
So I am doing another triple. It's only the second I've done but it was Amy's birthday weekend so I was givng all my attention to her. Mostly. Sometimes.

So, Amy opened her card up and this is what she found!

Two tickets to see Wicked at the Apollo in London! She's always wanted to see it, I managed to to when I was younger with the school. It was just as good, if not better as when I saw it the first time. The seats were great, we could see everything without and heads of poles in the way. Here's a picture of the theatre which was lovely, right next to the station.

We knew it was close to the station but.. We literally got off the train and see outside and it was right there. We had a Maccy D's. It was tasty. All in all it was a great day out. Then there's today.. I ended up killing wasps.

Thursday 9 October 2014

Surprise

Day 465
Amy's birthday tomorrow. She has no idea what's going on!

Wednesday 8 October 2014

Luminescence

Day 464
Today was my nans birthday, 88 today!

And also the moon. Some crazy luminescence going on there I must say. It's so bright that my phones camera could actually pick it up for once!

Tuesday 7 October 2014

Mini

Day 463
So, did something a little different today. Spontaneous. Off the bat. However you may say it - a friend invited us to mini golf and we were well up for it. It was good fun, turns out this place has two courses, the second is the more interesting one with jumps and bridges and crazy stuff like that which we want to go back and do at some point. There was 6 of us in total, I was the orange ball.

Monday 6 October 2014

Caterpillar

Day 462
I present the caterpillar. There is a human in that. A very cosy one.

Sunday 5 October 2014

Bunny

Day 461
It's a little bunny. It must be a witch bunny as it melts in water - wuhaha! Amy enjoyed it. It's from April this year so it's quite old but.. Clearly they don't go off or anything.

Saturday 4 October 2014

Cookie!

Day 459 & 460
Hello again. Sorry it's another double. It just appears that sleeping on a Friday night is getting easier.. Sleeping pattern? Something I've never had before. I don't like it. All nighters, Woop!

So today, we went to Maidstone. Despite the torrential rain. It was pretty heavy, we did the fun thing if managing to drive through the rain. So we drive in, it was heavy, came out the other side and no rain - for those of you who have no clue what I actually mean by that. I was hoping it would have made Maidstone a bit quieter but.. All it did was force everyone into shops. Including food places - everywhere was massive queues and no where to sit; it's not like you can go and eat somewhere outside on a rainy day! Also, I was worried as Amy was buying bath bombs.. Which are activated by water.. And we're only being protected by paper. Luckily, we did not lather.

We went to Fayre and Square for lunch/tea as we were happily full up for the entire day from there. It's always cheap there, obviously not the best quality food but for the price it's tasty. I obviously had gammon. Basically everything on the menu is part of a deal so you're going to save money some how somewhere. As you can see down below.. We ended up taking home a cookie dough pizza. Yup. No you can't have some. Go get your own.

Been playing Destiny of course, was very lucky today.. Got an exotic weapon from a legendary engram and it's amazing! Exotic hand cannon is the way to go! For PvE.. Not so much PvP.

I think Dr Who is getting into it's stride again. I really enjoyed this weeks one compared to the last couple, it actually made sense, and the graphics of the thing that happened was pretty awesome.. I like to remain vague. Spoilers. It's not fair.

I am also trying to plait Amy's hair.. As she can't. It's not like I can any better but it's better than nothing I guess? She said it was good. I think my feelings are being protected.

Thursday 2 October 2014

Sunny

Day 458
Went out with a load of friends today, went to Franky and Bennie's as they have got a new menu. A friend thought it's be a good way to get everyone together again. It worked. It was tasty. Success. I had a chicken wrap which came with coleslaw and chips, then as we have a 20% discount due to memberships and stuff.. It was even cheaper!

This picture was taken on the morning of the fun run. We got there super early so we managed to catch this and it was lovely. I think it's quite easy to see why I say that. Where the picture are taken turned out to be like.. The last 500m of the run?

Wednesday 1 October 2014

Wasps..

Day 457
So. Yeah. Look at them all. Amy has been dead wasps and drowsy ones all around her house.. And it turns out there appears to be a nest of some sort up there. They are all swarming up there. Luckily they are now in the process of an eviction so they won't be there for too much longer.
