Wake up in the morning feeling.. Bad..

No, I am not quoting Ke$ha. I almost did but I didn't. Disclaimer a day keeps the copyright away. But yes I did feel quite bad today when I woke up. No idea why, I got a good 7-8 hours sleep easy but just felt awful. I always find that if I get less sleep I feel a lot better in the morning even though I know it's bad for me.. Then you get ill.. But it's a vivacious cycle. Feel bad every day or once every now and then? Oh well, after laying in bed for a while solves that.

By the way, I am posting from Amy's iPad today as she stays here on a Friday. So naturally it comes with her everywhere so she said I can post from it. Very nice of her wouldn't you agree. It's actually not too hard to touch type on, compared what I would have assumed anyway. The only thing that's going to get you is the auto correcting which you don't notice. That is what always gets me anyway.. A lot of the time it is good and helps you. But then sometimes - nope! Like it'll autocorrect well to we'll or I'll to ill. Bwargh.

This morning me and Amy headed into Maidstone to do some little bits and bobs which we needed to do. For example, get some boxes for gifts and cards and stuff for her nan and grandad. Amy also got her hair cut at the supercuts in The Mall or the Chequers Centre or whatever you want to call it these days. They were meh. The idea of the walk in service is good though, booking is tedious. We were only there for a couple of hours which cost us £1.70 in Fremlin's car park which I am pretty sure has gone up in price but I can't really remember. I guess its not something your memory likes to retain, something that takes your money. Oh well, what's done is done now I guess.

I also got my hair cut today, my sister said she would do it as she used to be a hairdresser before what she does now. I like to wait a long time before getting my hair cut because you are literally giving someone money to take off a part of your body and throw it away. So by the time I have my hair cut I would make a fairly effective mop. After she had finished, it honestly looked like a small cat had exploded at my feet. When people see you after having your hair cut they always ask you if you have had it cut. I never understand why, it's pretty obvious that you have because there is less hair on your head than there was before hand. If someone has a different style to usual then yes, as away, it makes sense. They may have just had it styled or cut to get it that way. I just have it trimmed down so I can let it grow back all nice and bushy. It's really bouncy when it's long.

In the time between my haircut and going to work, me and Amy just relaxed and listened to my sisters dog making super strange noises. She was in a 'rip my toys to shreds' move today. She has a little tiger toy here which she loved and used to carry round with her when she was here. Today was judgement day. There was fluff everywhere, it looked like a nightmare from a teddies mind. Never saw it coming. I should have got a picture of it for you, don't know why I didn't think of that. Then again I can't seem to upload pictures from my phone at the minute so I guess it would have just stayed there.

So people in my local area, Borough Green and everywhere around it - what was the deal with that police helicopters with the spotlight. I didn't see it myself but it was mentioned to me. Did something happen that I do not yet know about? I don't really want to wait until Thursday for the new chronicle to come out and it might not even be in there anyway! So someone give my the gossip!

I believe that'll be all for today. The rest of my day consisted of going to work so.. As much as you would love to hear about that I think I will leave it for now. I packed some bags though - spoilers. Hope you had a good day and also have a lovely weekend. Sorry for no pictures but this being a new iPad n'all there aren't any pictures on it! I shall blog you later on.

Trust..

Matthews app won't work for him to to his own blog so for some reason he has decided to entrust me with it instead...

Well just to introduce myself, I'm Amy, Matthews loving girlfriend of two and somewhat years :)

I don't really know what to type because this isn't something I normally do and to be honest it really doesn't come naturally so I shall give it my best shot and I'm sure I won't be allowed to do this again!

Seeing as a blog post wasn't done yesterday let me think of something to say. Well I woke up at about 8.45am and then Matthew came and got me about 10am and we went back to his house for a little bit and then we went up to Sevenoaks so I could change some details on so,e stuffs that I won't say about because I'm awesome. We parked somewhere which is classed as cheap for that part of town which is always the best thing! After I sorted my bits out we then went down to currys so I could find a case for my beautiful new ipad that I got on Tuesday! Luckily I got the ipad on the last day of a promotion they were doing where you got a free £20 voucher which you could spend on more or less anything so I decided to get a purple case for. £10 and some purple headphone also £10 as you have to spend these vouchers at once as they don't give change. For anyone who knows me my favourite colour is purple. If everything could be purple, it would be but in my world it is :) any who after that we went back to Matthews to grab some lunch which consisted of a pasta pot which we shared and some toast. We also decided to watch some more of HIMYM which I know Matthew has blogged about in the past because its so awesome but we just haven't really bad the time to watch it! Matthew went to work at 3pm which is boring but I went home and got on with some of my coursework which felt like it took forever and then I watched some Britain's got talent as I had missed the last couple of days. My favourite so far is Jack the comedian, so funny and good for his age! Time passed and it was 10pm and I saw Matthew after he finished work for a quick 5 or 10 minutes which is always lovely and then I went to bed because I was rather sleepy from a productive day of not doing much!

On to today which was more or less the same but minus the trip to Sevenoaks and anyone going to work! We basically has a lazy day of lounging around not doing to much. There was me playing on my new toy and Matthew playing on his beloved Xbox! Time flies when you're being lazy! We had out tea from the chippy which consisted of burger and chips and it was lovely :) Matthew bought some ice cream that the shop we normally go had discontinued but has now brought back and I bought some 'Tropical' Capri suns but when we got home they turned out to be black current and that is the worst flavour! We decided to go back later and change them to the right flavour which was successfully accomplished at 10pm! We then we actually watched BGT when it was on at 7.30pm and still carried on the trend of being lazy! Yay! After that was the fiasco of changing my drinks and then going home to bed where I am typing this :)

I'm in hope that this hasn't been to boring and that I may be allowed to do this again in the very far future because I know I'm not good at this blogging thing!

I shall leave you all with a picture which I came across on 9GAG which is so true and always happens!
Nice to blog y'all,
Amy :)

Tuesday 28 May 2013

Hello again

Sorry I didn't do a post yesterday, but as you may know I started work at half five in the morning meaning I was up at about twenty to five. I felt fine for most of the day until about ten, then I went a bit loopy and wanted to go to sleep. If I had blogged yesterday I would probably have told you how awesome giraffes are at rollerblading. They might be.

So, what have I been doing? You must be eager to know, so eager! Well, lets start at the beginning I guess. Work was strange because not only was it a bank holiday but the half term. The shop opened at six and I didn't serve anyone until about twenty past seven. That gave me an hour of dawdling which actually went pretty fast to be fair. But being at work and doing nothing is never any fun, especially when I am stuck behind a till! After that it was a pretty standard shift. Yeah.

After work, which was about one, I had a quick shower and then headed off to be the beach. We decided to go to Hastings, about an hour and a half's drive away. Only thing was that finding a parking spot was a damn nightmare! I mean, we were expecting that but it was crazy. A lot of people just gave up but we just went to a car park that was really far away. About a forty five minute walk away to be exact. We had some nice fish and chips at the same place that we ate last time went. Whippy ice cream. Then we headed over to an arcade and went 2p crazy. Not for very long as we only had three hours parking and needed to get back to the car in time. We managed to get three little toys out and all the claw machines were fixed. All of the prizes had money attached to them so you knew you weren't going to get anything. Still worth a try though? Lovely weather too. Lots of burnt people. Meh.

It was about eight when we got back, managed to drive home without any assistance which was pretty awesome. As in, no guidance from Siri. We were talking about going to see the Hangover Part 3 but then I sort of felt sleepy, then I went a little crazy so we decided to leave it until today!

First thing that happened today was a man from BT coming. He was here to 'upgrade' our Internet to fibre optic as we now qualify for it. It's so fast! Before we would get up to about 12MB if we were lucky and that was at night when no one was on the Internet. Now, in the evening when everyone is on the Internet we can get up to 33MB! It's so crazy! I tested it during the day and it went even higher than that, as you can see.

By the way, that app is really good. It's called Speed Test, can test the speed of your wifi or 3G. I was surprised at the speed of the 3G network.

Then we headed off to Rochester to have a nice lunch out at Frankie And Benny's and then to see Hangover. We had the lunch menu, so free drink refills and two courses for about £9. I had garlic and cheese sauce with mushrooms. Amy had bruschetta. For my main I decided to have a chicken BBQ pizza which was so good! Never had a pizza from there before. Amy had penne romana or something along those lines. I was proud of my adventurousness by having things I had never had! Very tasty I might add. Plus they have changed the set menus for evening meals so we need to go back and try that at some point too!

So, I won't say too much about the Hangover because a lot of people may not have watched it yet as it was only out last Thursday I think. I will say for those who haven't fine yet, make sure that you watch the bit after the credits, the waiter tipped us off that there was something there. It's by no means the best of the three but I still want it on DVD.

After that we went to PC World in Aylesford. Amy got herself a new toy. A big one! It's so cool. I started this blog post on there so I'm not sure if there will be a formatting issue between me transferring to the phone but.. I guess we shall see once its up and out there. I think I would like an iPad mini because it fits in my hand and I could type on it easy without needing to split the keyboard to reach! I've always wanted a Micrisoft Surface though so.. If anyone wants to give me £400 then I won't complain. That'll be your way of sponsoring my blog? Wink wink, nudge nudge.

Then we had hotdogs. Classy stuff. We had red onions with it too. Mmm.

Quite a lot here today.. I probably forgot something I wanted to mention but I guess I can include that another time. It's all good. Blog you later.

P.S - sorry Tate if there any mistakes. Ha.

Sunday 26 May 2013

A quick one!

This shall be a quick one because I have work at half five in the morning. Yay for me!

Had a lovely relaxing day with Amy. We chilled out and bed for the morning and which is always nice. We then tried something  new for lunch, by that I mean something we have never cooked before. It went down a lot better with me than it did with her. Amy cooked macaroni cheese, I thought it was so good. I had all of mine and some of hers as well as a bowl of salad with sweet chilli dressing. By dressing I mean dipping sauce. Same thing really. We weren't sure if it was the sauce that out her off so next time we said we would make our own sauce. That'll be even tastier me thinks.

Amy also found an awesome new game today, it's called Dumb Ways To Die. That may sound familiar as it was also a viral YouTube video about railway tracks. They made a game where you have to save the little characters from dying in the silly ways. You unlock new characters for your own little train station and even the song with video on your phone. Then you can watch it anywhere. It's still really good to watch again now.

Just a heads up - Angry Birds Space is free on the App Store at the moment. I don't exactly love Angry Birds but it is a big app and its free so even if you don't use it, it's worth downloading. If all of a sudden you want to play it a couple of months down the line you'll never need to pay for it! Free!

For the last couple of days I have come home, there has been a spider waiting next to the door. And each day it's getting bigger it would appear. I just hope it doesn't get to the point where I come home and it is opening the door for me and expecting a tip.

So we have a poster with the headline on it for the Sevenoaks Chronicle at the coop and I was looking at it today. Doesn't quite seem right now does it?

'Targic.' I think we can all get what it means just surprised such an obvious mistake has gone unnoticed. I know I'm one to talk with the mistakes that I have in this blog but ahhh it's my phone. Most of the time. Ha.

I'm going to sleep. Wish me luck. Maybe come by and see me at 6am when the shop opens. No? Okay. Be asleep. Blog you later.

Insert Title Here..

I couldn't think of a better title so that'll do for now. It doesn't even say that in the title box but oh well. You get the idea of what I am talking about.

hells yeah ;P <-- From Amy.

So, I missed yesterday again because I fell asleep again. I was at work for seven hours so I guess I can use that as an excuse. Well I am going to anyway, even if you don't agree with it. I almost missed tonight as I am at Tom's right now. Just finished watching a film but that will come later on down the bottom.. As I do this all in time order. How my brain works. I am on his laptop as well so with any luck I shouldn't have any silly auto-corrects which I will get told off for. This thing is a tank. Dayuuum.

So back to yesterday morning.. Was up nice and early as usual. I like being up early because it lets me use the whole day. That's probably why I fall asleep before I can post anything. I said to myself I would only watch two episodes of Lost yesterday and I ended up watching five.. Naughty me. I just started watching and then I kept going because I wanted to know what happened next. And next. And next. Next. This is the first time in all of the series that it actually feels like there is a good side and bad side. But then again I am suspecting this to be a lie because you can never be sure with whatever is going on in that program. I trust nothing!

Just watched a new advert for visiting Las Vegas. What was that? You'll understand when you see it. It is super weird.

I then played my Xbox a little bit. Yeah, that's always good. Learned some new things, did some new things. I also helped my Dad figure out which wires were going where from the router. We need to jiggle them all about for the new router so we can have the wires in better places. Makes more sense to me but you want to know this. Or why would you be here? HA.

So today was pretty interesting. Woke up and kind of just laid in bed for ages. Just meh. It's nice to be able to just do nothing, not worry about anything and chill. Then a shower to make me feel 'fresh' according to these new Facebook things.. I don't even know what they are or how you do them but they are there. Just in case I ever want to. Then we had a chat with Tate and decided to head to Maidstone to do some shopping. We were also given the task of getting Mr Tate some new clothes for his impending holiday.

We didn't get any clothes. He threw up three times.

We aren't sure if it was the heat, the lack of food in his system or the actual food he ate. He had a sweet fire supercharger. Don't worry, I had one too so I doubt it was the food. He hadn't eaten for ages or drunk anything all morning and it was a hot day. First he got to the toilet so he was fine. Then he sort of didn't.. And made a lot of people look and feel a bit strange. Especially the three girls setting down eating Maccy D's. Sorry. And then in the car park before we left to go home. By then it was mostly water so it was all good. He had a sleep when we got back and then he was all shiny and better again. But that did mean no clothes for him. Oops.

We were planning to go out for dinner and see Hangover 3 but we thought it might be better to scheduler to another day as he was sicky. Plus there was no offers on a Saturday and it would be super busy anyway. We will see that film! Apparently some are saying its not as good as the others but everyone will still see it anyway. You and I both know that.

As Mr Tate felt better we still decided to watch a film - just at his house instead. We also had some party food because we are awesome. I also insisted on a salad so that there was something healthy on the table. It tasted really good with some dressing on it. Never had a dressing before. I think I shall have them more often because they be dam tasty. Kind of removes the whole healthy aspect but meh. MEH.

Then we watched What To Expect When You're Expecting. I first watched this in Portsmouth with Amy last year when it came it. It is really good. And sad. And happy. And scary. All at once, that's why it is so good. It has got a bit of everything with an amazing all star cast which makes it awesome. Watch it.

Then we watched the end of Daredevil which someone needs to remake because that could be a hell of a lot more awesome with all of today's computer bits and bobs. The CGI in it for the time was pretty good.

Shan't add any pictures today because formatting right now is just bleh. Can't be bothered right now. IM LATE. BWARGH. Upload two today technically.. Ahhh.

Thursday 23 May 2013

Early?

This is quite early for me. I'm hoping that it tricks my mind into thinking its later so I fall asleep earlier.. That would be awesome. Mind over matter they say.

A warning - probably going to be a short one because I kind of nerded out on Dark Souls for the majority of the day.. And no one really likes that game other than me. That's just how it is. Or if you do like it you haven't told me so. Tell me!

I did also watch the first two episodes of series 6 of Lost as I knew that it was a two parter. I'm really excited for this series because chances are this series is just going to be answer central. Just everything all at once and its going to break my brain. I cannot wait.

I don't know if its just my phone or what but this morning, wouldn't send of receive messages. Just no. Nothing. Then Amy called me, after that BOOM! 6 text messages all at once. That froze the phone a little as it was confused at its sudden minor popularity. I don't get why it does it sometimes. Is it the phone or the connection? If its the connection how comes no one else gets this problem? I don't know anything about this.

The new hub came today, want to install it but the BT man has to do it. Need the new cables and what not.. They even connect one device in you house for you. Because no one knows how to do that. It will be interesting to see the difference in speed, at the moment we get about 8MB max and that itself is more than enough. 33.6MB is just going to awesome. Then what about Google fibre in America, gigabit Internet! A gig per second. Bwargh!?

Had chicken and chips for dinner. Nice, simple and cheap. Me and Amy love it. It's like our go to meal when we lack inspiration to cook something else. Food is food at the end of the day but om nom. Dat chicken.

This evening has mainly been relaxing. Just doing nothing. For Amy it's the wind down to the half term so the energy levels begin to slowly wind off and it's contagious. Plus my mum is at a school so I get it from her as well. But who doesn't like relaxing? It's so.. Relaxing.

And I guess that's about it to be fair. I'll just mention I'm almost all used to Penelope's clutch now. That's nice. Come at me hills! Hope you all had a good day. Now I'm just gonna chill. Mm. Blog you later.

Wednesday 22 May 2013

Just why?

So I got in from work and I go on Facebook to see all these crazy posts about the south of London and Muslims this that and the other.. And I'm just thinking what's going on? Then Amy tells me about it and I find the video on the news website and I realise what it's all about. And my response is just why? There is no way on earth that I can believe this eye for an eye malarkey that was coming out of their mouths because a British solider would not do that. And apparently the fact this soldier they attacked was wearing a Help For Heroes T-shirt provoked them. That makes no sense, the old war veterans would not have been anywhere near Syria in WW1 and WW2. While I do agree with some of the anguished posts out there, when people start turning this into racism it needs to stop. Being racist would just give fuel to extremists who think that they need to hit back at racists in an extreme way. All this was was two deranged people. Who happened to be Muslims so we're told. Just two people, being born into a Muslim family or any religion for that matter does not make you one way or another. You make your own choices in your own head. Looking to a God to justify your actions is a cowardly thing to do. I don't want to get into it any more than I already have. RIP, my thoughts are with the family and anyone who had to witness what happened. I would also like to commend the people that had the confidence to try and stop them.

I would also like to mention my friend who recently did a sponsored sky dive for Help For Heroes, I'm not sure how much he raised but a very big well done to him.

Sorry about no post yesterday, kind off just fell asleep. I was planning on doing one and the poof! I was asleep. So I'll let you know what I did last night too.

I had work yesterday as did Amy and then when I picked her up we couldn't decide tea. Luckily we got a text from Mr Tate asking if we were busy and we ended up spending the night at his. We made him a carbonara as he had never tried it and also had some garlic bread type things to share. We also had a magnum for pudding, white chocolate. He also managed to make his skyblock map work so we had a mess around on there and it actually got going pretty well! Shall have to get him to move the save file to his cloud storage. We also watched The 5 Year Engagement which I was very very impressed by.

Jason Segal is just awesome any way and he co-wrote this film. It's got really funny bits, a great story and some quite emotional bits. I really didn't expect it to be so deep to be honest, I was expecting a rom com but then all of a sudden it gets pretty deep. I would definitely recommend watching it, you'll be quite surprised I think.

As for today, I was at work from 3-10pm so that's the majority of the day right there! Felt a bit funny after taking Amy to schools I sort of moped around for a little bit until I felt better. I changed my bed. Rocking the purple sheets now. Enjoyed some YouTube videos. I keep seeing all these YouTube comedy week things and yeah I think it's a good idea until it comes to the live stuff. If I want to watch something live, I'll watch TV or go to a streaming service like JustinTV or Twitch. YouTube is probably a lot more accessible and all that but I like videos which I can just click and watch any time, on demand. Just me I guess.

I also finished season 5 of Lost today and I can see what Jake meant. Epic ending! Goes out with a literal bang, for those you who have seen it - this'll all make sense. Everyone else.. Not so much. Can't even begin to think what will happen in season 6 but that's the end! I'll have watched about £50 worth of DVD's for £5. Awesome.

So Voldemort from Harry Potter. Great character, hard to impersonate. Not for Jake. While I was cleaning the coffee machine, out of no where I just hear 'only I can live forever.' I turn round expecting to see someone on an iPod but I see jake behind the till looking rather smug. It was literally perfect. I bet you right now he is laying in bed practicing so he can show it off.

I hate spiders.

This is what I came home to. Luckily it stayed outside. Yuck.

Anyways, thanks for reading! Getting new Internet soon so I don't know if there'll be a down period where I live in the Stone Age but we are upgrading to fibre optic! Going from 8MB down to about 33.6 I think the said. Ahhhh needgasm. Ahem. Bye! Blog you later.

Monday 20 May 2013

Train kitty

Happy Monday? Does such a thing exist? Hell if I know. I hope you had a good day anyway. Only four days left until the weekend!

So today started of pretty standard, up early for a drive to Amy's place of money making. I then got home, played me some Dark Souls. I decided to hop onto an old character which I had made to test out some magic. The 'new' magic is pretty awesome. Powerful also, but I'm pretty sure that 99% of anyone reading this may not have even heard of this game.. Unless they've read it on here but they'll still have no clue. It's so good.

So that paella thingy which I had for lunch. I'm pretty impressed with it actually. Good taste, little bit spicy and juicy veg with bright colours. Decent for under £2 but when they label it chicken and prawn - there need to be more than four prawns. You'll eat them in one fork full if you're not careful. Have a look at the lovely thing.

For some reason it's sideways. The photo editing which has apparently been added to this app is non existent so all turn your heads to the right. There we go. Now back to the middle. Continue.

I watched another 8 episodes of Lost today, only 3 more left in season 5. Some of the stuff that happened today I was watching and just thinking.. Wahhh? Usually you'll be watching and you'll have some idea of what is going on due to other events. But some of this has just made me really confused. Maybe the answers will come later but at this point it would appear that maybe the writers wanted the 'dafug' factor more than a coherent linking plot. Like how John came back from the dead. How Jack's dad came back from the dead and can now teleport around like a crazy person. Who knows? Season 6 I think. That's who knows.

As I said - I would show you the other Yankee Candle thing we got at the Lakeside's.

It's actually a pretty arty farty picture looking at it. Or maybe that's just me. The focus has worked pretty well. Well done iPhone. This tiny little thing has made my car smell like a little sanctuary of beachyness! You get the smell every time you get in the car and its never horrible. For me anyway, some others may not enjoy the smell of coconuts for as long as I would. Would definitely recommend any Yankee Candle products to you. They smell pretty!

Something what I forgot to mention yesterday. At Lakeside I am pretty sure I saw Ali Carter, the snooker player. Amy had no idea who he was but that's mainly because she doesn't like snooker. Either it was him or someone that looks exactly like him. I'm pretty sure it was though. Saw someone famous. High fives all around. My brother managed to meet Hugh Dennis at a cinema. As you do.

Have you seen Don't Tell The Bride? Me and Amy always watch it and most of the time it goes well. They always show the planning stage being a complete mess and tight to the budget yet the finished product looks all good and the bride is happy. Sometimes I don't even know how that happens but I guess in the moment.. You would love anything if it meant you could be married. On today's one there were no wedding invitations - he text everyone. Just no.

Woo, 101010 miles. Or Amy's birthday 3 years ago.

And finally the train kitty. We went to the coop to get a few bits before Amy went him and there was this really cute car sitting in the car park. There seem to be a lot of cats which hang around the train station maybe because they know commuters will give them a fuss while they wait. This one was obviously not accustomed to stranger stroking because he seemed absolutely petrified. He was really cute. But shaking a lot, maybe he was cold but I assumed he was scared. I was going to get a snap of him to show his turtle shell pattern or but a huge truck came barreling down the hill and he disappeared. This is what I did manage to get..

A lot of my hand as I tried to keep up as he ran. Also saw two fixes today out in the daylight. One ran away as normal but the other was just wandering around the footpath waiting to cross the road. Was pretty strange.

Well aren't you all lucky birds today, 4 pictures! I know I could have split them over 2 days but hell - this'll encourage me to take more piccys! Hope you have a good Tuesday. Blog you later.

Sunday 19 May 2013

My weekend

For some reason I just fall asleep without posting on a Friday and Saturday night. I know I can do it from my phone. Amy even reminds me to do it! For some reason I am just out for the count before I can reach across to create some reading material.

So Friday, what did I do Friday? Is it bad that I can just about remember Friday? Well I know that I was at work for a lot of the day from 3-10pm so there's seven hours which you probably won't care too much about. Made a lot of money though. I don't know if divulging numbers is breaching some security things so I won't say how much. A lot is a lot. 'Nuff said. I remember being up nice and early, and feeling awake which was pretty strange. I also remember taking Amy to school and being happy that there were no people walking up the hill in the middle of the road. Because that's what they do most of the time. No path means it is safe to walk in the middle of a small country road.

I also started season 5 of Lost, got about five episodes in. Jake told me this is when my head is really going to start going 'whaaa?' but that is part of the experience. I had a browse through what other shows are on LoveFilm and I saw that Heroes was on there. Something else I never managed to keep up with when it was on TV. On demand service; why you so awesome? So who knows, maybe that's something I will always tell you about and you'll probably have no clue. Wuhahaha.

Some random youths were just shouting walking down the middle of my road. I could see them out the window. I can still hear them. Sounds like they just kicked a dog. Who knows?

I swear I like flat lemonade more than fizzy lemonade. And do the bubbles sting your tongue? They do for me..

So Saturday, me and Amy decided to head off to Lakeside to do some shopping! I actually bought something as well which is odd for me. Didn't hold back either, £52 on a new suit and shoes which if you ask me is pretty good value for money! I'm not all suited and booted ready for any interviews I get. I really like wearing a suit. I feel really good. Maybe it's just me but I can't wait to have to wear a suit and use my ties. Also got a belt with robots on it for £1, who doesn't like robots?

Nice bit of glare from the flash.

Amy good some new clothes too including a nice cardigan that she got in the sales from Republic. It's Soul Cal. It's white and blue. Bargain for a tenner! She also got herself another Yankee Candle. She got one from eBay called Sicilian Lemon, she then got Bahama Breeze from the outlet there. Also got two small 'tarts' with the scent of Summer Scoop and finally a Coconut Bay air freshener for my car. I'll have to remember to get a picture of that because its a pretty awesome little thing. Here's the candles which smell really good. Guys - girls will love them as a present and you get to enjoy the smell too. If you're single then give one to your mum and sister and then burn it all yourself. It's gurd.

Taco Bell was just as good as last time. So dang tasty! I wish there was more of them everywhere because the bridge toll and the petrol and then actually getting the food.. Ah it's still good. It's growing on me.

Had a pizza for tea; good old Pimmyz. When they asked for the address all we got out was the house number and they hung up. They knew which house to go to. I think that may not be the best sign in the world but we don't eat from there very often. I'd say once a month at the most, maybe we just have a memorable house.

Who watched Eurovision? I kind of did and didn't. Was more interested in BGT but during the breaks we flicked over to see what was going on. We watched all the results though because they are always fun. At least we did a hell of a lot better than 4 points this year! Romania sent their own version of Rylan and Ireland sent a thin version of Eastender's Fat Boy. If you have a look in google or something you'll see what I mean. Well done to Denmark for winning.

I treated myself to the Dark Souls DLC as I have gotten back into it quite a lot. This added an entirely new section on for me which for such an old game is quite strange. Well.. It's not that old but I've had it for a while. I would definitely advise it for anyone who reads this, plays it and doesn't have it. I think that niche was me until I got it.. Niche filled!

Today.. Today was awesome. Enjoyed a nice long day of being in bed. We slept until gone 1 or 2 but sometimes it is just a nice thing to do that. We went to Tesco afterwards to do some shopping so we did manage to fit something productive in. Don't judge me! Also got something interesting for my lunch tomorrow. Chicken and king prawn paella for only £1.75. It was frozen but it had some colour and it'll go in the oven for 40 minutes and be all good. I hope. I'll let you know.

Then I went to work again. Boo.

And now I am here! I could tell you that I made a blog and this is what I wrote *copy and paste entire post infinitely* but that il would be counterproductive in my opinion. So instead I shall end it here. I hope you had a good weekend and have a good week! Shall blog you tomorrow night I do believe.

Do like me a Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut is so good, me and Amy went there this evening. The woman did forget our salad bowls today until we asked but it would appear that they left her to wait on all of the tables used tonight. There were 4 tables in use which seemed a like a bit of an unfair workload on her but.. I have no idea what's going on there. I work in a shop! We had our usual, large cheesy bites BBQ meat feast. It's always good, almost the same every single time. Some restaurants you will have a favourite dish but sometimes it's not quite up to par. Something is cooked a tiny bit different or there's more of one ingredient than another. Pizza Hut is consistent and not too heavy on the old wallet.

I watched the season finale of season 4 of Lost and just argh!? Mind is blown, it's just crazy. I don't think it's supposed to make sense as when they made they knew everyone would have to wait for the next season. Luckily I have it all available at my finger tips.. Wuha! I'm possibly going to start on season 5 tomorrow, not entirely sure yet. Just need some answers to the millions of questions I have about it all! Google has them but I'll be good. And holy cow, they moved an island.

I mentioned I have gone back to Dark Souls, I've 100% it but I still enjoy playing it. I watched some people 'speed run' it today and they can finish it in about 1-2 hours. Some of my characters have up to 45+ hours of play time to go through it twice. They could finish the game  20 times before I do it twice! It's so crazy. It is getting me feeling creative so it may help to get some drawing done. Also because I would quite like to do a Dark Souls drawing to show of some of the amazing design work in the game. It's strange that barely anyone knows about it.

Someone around my estate must have just gotten some new cats or something because I keep seeing new ones.. And my cat is pretty old so he can't fight like he used to. Too many new kids on the block! I was pulling into my parking space after coming back from Pizza Hut and there were two cats facing up to each other right there! I won the fight obviously as my car made then scatter. I'm a friggin' huge cat!

So who watched YouTube videos? Me too. Something I always enjoy is going on to the app and looking to see what my subs have uploaded. It's just sometimes I'm sitting scrolling through thinking 'I don't want to watch any of this..' It's a real shame because some things they upload I can't wait to watch but then other times its just like.. Shut up already! I always get a bit of a buzz when I find a new channel with loads of stuff I want to watch. Then there is hours of new content for my viewing pleasure until there is fresh new stuff. The beauty of the YouTube.

Here's a picture of the printer a work. I just thought it was funny that it said it was sleeping. They usually say standby or something robotic. My thought track makes no sense.

Since I've had the car washed, I have had three separate lots of bird poo on my car. This time they managed to hit the drivers side handle. It's only in one place so thankfully I don't have to put my hand in it every time I touch the door. Going to need to clean that off. Did I do something wrong to the local birds?

I picture from my birthday because why the hell not? I know it was a while ago but I like it. I look awesome. Or crazy. Probably the latter. In my birthday shirt from UniQlo from Amy. It's got a load of different badges on the back, it's a flipping awesome shirt. I think that shop is one of the only ones I would go in to do my own clothes shopping. I actually like to look through their clothes. That's my place to be a girl by the sounds of it..

Before I question my affections for that shop I will leave it here. Thank you for reading and your support. Have a nice Friday then go crazy because its the weekend! Blog you later.

I would like to start off with another thank you. Yesterday night at some point the blog went past 2,000 views and is currently sitting at 2,027. I know it's not loads but it is to me when I am just talking about me. It also keeps me motivated to post when I come back to my stats at the end of the day to see 30+ views when I haven't even posted anything yet! So once again - thank you.

So for those of you who have read all of my posts, a while back when I first started I posted about some Swedish folklore called 'Year Walking' which allows you to see into the future. Well, I never played the game of it for iOS, I just explained it using the companion app which was free. I never even thought to look on YouTube to see someone actually play it. Turns out one of my favourite YouTubers - PewDiePie - has recently played it on his channel. I think this is great as he has a fan base of over 7 million subscribers! Probably going to give the developers a pretty sum of money too. I will link to my post if you want to go back and look at it and if you are interested in seeing the game - which is amazing - search PewDiePie on YouTube and look through his recent videos. All three parts will be near the top.

I myself have recently got back into playing Dark Souls, I guess to give myself another challenge and to get ready for Dark Souls 2. I'm pretty sure it isn't out until later in the year but.. Practice makes perfect.

I definitely felt the effects of the badminton session today. I was fine for most of the day, didn't feel achey or tight so I thought I had gotten off lightly. Then I went to work and then it got me. My legs were so tight and painful when I tried to bend down to pick something up or climb onto a stool to get to the top shelf. I guess that is what happens when you haven't done something for a couple of years! Kinect is so much kinder to your body, I can tell you now.

I have one more episode of Season 4 of Lost, so many questions bobbing around in my head space. I know there are 6 seasons but it genuinely seems like an escape is about to occur. Although in the flash forwards there is talk about going back to the island so.. I guess I will only know once I get into them seasons. Thank you Jake for sharing your views with me. He's the only person I know who has also watched it all the way through! His memory is good as he hasn't watched any of it for a couple of years.

I bought this sweet chilli chicken noodle thing from the coop for my lunch today. I've been wanting to try it as it was sweet chilli and I love the stuff. So I did. I went for Amy's advice of cooking it in the oven for half an hour rather than the microwave for 2 minutes. Can't be too careful with chicken, safety first! It was okay. For £2.50 and 400 calories I can accept the lack of taste. Just know that making stuff yourself is so much more healthy and tasty. You know what's in it that way.

The backup freezer at the coop broke. So now the shop freezers are full to the brim of random stuff. Good luck trying to by anything from there.

I need a slap. That Dead Space drawing is on the verge of never being finished! And I know it'll be really good when it is. I need to find a piece of inspiration that will egg me on to draw. A film, a piece of music or something.. Something that'll make my creative juices flow again. I sit and try to do some but I do a couple of lines and stop myself because I know I don't want to do it. That's just a recipe for a ruined picture. I don't want that. I am very open to some suggestion and also let me know if you want to see a 'so-far' picture or if you'd like to wait for the finished product. Maybe I will pop a vote on the page for a week or something to see what you all want.

Looking back at this post it's been a real mishmash of things all in all. Brain was all over the place today! Sorry for no pictures, I didn't find anything to take a picture of today. I'll have another rummage through my phone tomorrow. Blog you later!

Tuesday 14 May 2013

Badminton!

I just ate an apple. It was pretty tasty. Skin was too tough and it wasn't sour enough for my taste. I'll give it a 6.

So today was Tuesday, I got up and took Amy to school. When I got in, I felt really awake and ready for the day but then I just zoned out. I felt awful, so much so that I dragged myself into bed feeling all drowsy. I didn't want to sleep so I watched some videos on my phone but I can't remember what I saw.. I can remember what I heard quite vividly. Don't know if I was asleep or not. Doesn't really matter to be honest does it?

I had a crazy crazy dream last night. I woke up thinking 'what the hell was that sh*t?' I dreamed that I was in Australia and that the government there ask you to go on a wildlife safety course as there are loads of different beasties out there. This particular lesson started with a man that looked like a skinny Steve Irwin saying 'welcome to squirrels and cats 101.' Yeah, it's that kind of weird. He went on to say stuff like 'remember, cats are a lot bigger than squirrels' and 'don't let it get at ya nuts.' I did a pretty good Australian impression for Amy of what he said that I was pretty proud of. Usually something happens in your day which influences your dreams but I don't think owning a cat would do this..

Just before Amy went to sleep today, she told me that the dentist had called her grandad asking if anyone had lost a rabbit. Someone found one running around the car park and decided the best place to hand it in would be the dentist. Yeah.. Logic.

I spent a lot of today watching things on my phone because they buffer faster and in better quality than a laptop. In my experience anyway. I watched Saturday's Doctor Who and it was okay. The episodes seem to be fluctuating in terms of how good they are week to week. This Saturdays looks awesome so if the trend continues - booyah! I've also been watching a YouTuber called PyroPuncher or Paul play a game called Game Developer Tycoon. It's a new casual cake where you start off in a garage developing your own games. You make money, get an office and staff and make better games and more money. By the end of it you can develop your own consoles, MMO's and even AAA games. It's quite addicting to watch and unfortunately the series is over as nothing more happens after 30 years in game time. Still good to watch.

So I bought my insurance with comparethemarket.com so that meant that I would have a resident of Meerkovo moving in with me! Amy was hoping for the baby meerkat whereas I was hoping for Sergei because I think he is awesome. We got..

Vassily! The apparent alcoholic Russian of Meerkovo. You even get a certificate to say its real which is typed like a meerkat. As in with poor grammar. I quite like him, Amy says he has creepy eyes.. I can see where she's coming from. They aren't the most welcoming beads in the world. He just makes me thinking Enemy At The Gates which is a great film about WW2 in Russia and the main character is a sniper called Vassily. Watch it!

Tea was a chicken korma. Goddam lovely it was. The end.

So we had some time to kill before we went to badminton, the court booking wasn't until 7:35. We decided to watch a film, one that Amy had seen and spoke about on Sky. It was called Its Kind Of A Funny Story. It's about a teenager who admits himself to a psych ward thinking he is going to kill himself. He meets a girl, they get all lovey dovey, he does some art and be sings. It's really good. Plus Zach Galifianakis is in it, with his beard of awesome awesomeness. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Finally to the badminton. It seemed like the most appropriate title but its included last.. Logical? I get you excited about the title to make you stay until the end! Wuhahaha. Anyway, we went to Larkfield Leisure Centre which is probably the easiest and closest place to play. We were all a bit rusty as we hadn't played for a couple of years. After a while we all loosened up and got into it and then still missed everything other shot trying to get back in the old grove. We did use to play every week though.. So we should get back that way in time! SMASH! There's not a lot else I can really say other than chances are we will ache in the morning. Worth it!

So it's been raining. Well done captain obvious. But when my cats wet he doesn't like his bed but he likes the sofa. But he makes that wet. Silly thing.

Thanks for reading! I shall pause here as its almost midnight when I am finishing this and I want it to save and be out and shared today! Have a nice Wednesday. Blog you later.

Enders

So as some of you may know, I work in a shop so by the end of a shift I have met countless people of whom I may never see or hear of again. Today however, just as I started work and made my way to the till a colleague of mine was having a very up eat and friendly man. I work with her a lot so I thought I recognised all of her friends that shop here, him I couldn't place my finger on. After he left, I asked who he was because I am nosey. Turns out it was an ex Eastenders actor! In Borough Green! Seems pretty mad that he is here. If he was here on a production that would be amazing. A film shot in my home village. I won't be horrible but I didn't recognise him and neither did many people but I guess it still goes down as meeting someone famous. He's called Marc Bannerman if you need a face to a name. I didn't exist when he was first introduced to Eastenders to be fair.

I made lots of stuff at work cheap. You're welcome.

Me and Amy had spaghetti bolognese today; it's like our trademark food for a Monday. Very good stuff. Also discovered that the mince in the village store is a hell of a lot better value than what we offer. 250g of lean mince for £2 or 500g standard for £3. Smallest the coop does here is 500g for £4! Either way; they taste gooooood.

I didn't say that..

Amy got two new films at HMV on Saturday, good old 2 for £10 dealio so she got Magic Mike and also The Five Year Engagement. The second looks funny as hell as the guy from How I met Your Mother is in it. I've been told by many guys that Magic Mike is also a very good and funny film. Even if there are abs. Makes you feel real healthy that does.

I am literally laying here falling asleep so I shall post this. I keep going on random tangents thinking I am talking about other things and ahhhh brain drain. Don't really know what's happening by that point! Then I have to delete it and blah.. Blah..

I will leave you a nice picture though. So you have something nice to look at out.

The most artistic photo I have ever taken! It's in Maidstone, I would like to think at least one person will recognise it!

Any who, beauty sleep for now. Goodnight, blog you later on people.

Sunday 12 May 2013

Been a while?

It has been a couple of days since I was talking to you on here. Just been quite busy or tired. That's just the way it works out sometimes! I'm here now though, so get comfy and plonk your reading glasses on.

I would like to say I've had a pretty good weekend. I'm going to start with Friday but this weekend has been different. Met new people, been to a new place and stuff. Friday first though.

Popped Amy to school and then I came in and thought, what shall I do right now? I'll be honest, I can't entirely remember what I did that morning but it passed the time to lunch. I'm pretty sure I watched some Lost but that's all I would appear to do. For lunch I used up the remaining bacon and some of mushrooms from Thursday night to make a lovely bacon, mushroom and cheese bagel. Have a look at this lovely bits to eat.

Only took a couple of minutes to make and used up the spares. Wins all around!

Had work in the evening which is what it is.. Was crazy busy compared to usual. Apparently the shop is busier on a Friday than a Saturday now which is odd but believable.

So, Saturday! Once again, all around the houses me and Amy went. First we went to Bluewater because free parking is awesome. For once the signs weren't lying, there really were over 1000 spaces available in the place we parked! I swear usually they'll say there is a load of free space and in reality there is one space that everyone will hunt down. In the end you stalk people walking back to their cars to nab their space. Whenever I do this they just walk to the car, drop bags off and head back to the shop! Like they need to spend more money. We had a walk around there for a couple of hours and then headed to Maidstone. Had a look around the shops there, Amy got me a new shirt for £2.50 from Primark which I changed into in my car. We were out for dinner and this seemed more appropriate than a Smurf jumper as much as I love it!

It was Amy's Grandad's 78th birthday on Friday and the birthday meal was on Saturday. We went to the Harvester in Maidstone which has gone the thinnest parking spaces ever. One of the only times I would envy a smart car. These days it would appear than casual dining restaurants to not do bookings. They just tell you to ring half hour in advance to allow them to prepare a table. We did this but still ended up waiting an hour after getting there! I had a 7oz gammon steak with butter peas, chips, grilled tomato and two pineapple rings. Only £6.99! Everything was gone apart from the tomato. Can't stand the things! For pudding me and Amy shared a munchies ice cream sundae which was really good. The bottom was a warm chocolate brownie. If you are a member of The Harvester you get a free ice cream sundae on your birthday! I think I need to join!

After this we then headed out to Tonbridge with a Mr Tate and his girlfriend to meet her friends for the first time. We went to a Wetherspoons which was amazing. The ceilings were tall, there was plent of seats, a huge TV and a bar long enough that you'll get served pretty quickly even at the busy part of the evening. I had two brothers strawberry ciders as they are blooming lovely. I shan't name and names as they probably have no clue that I am even blogging around the subject of meeting them. Was a good evening though.

As for today, me and Amy enjoyed some time relaxing. We then went to Tesco to get some bits and bobs, Sundays are much more relaxed in shops. You can see the floor rather than rushing feet and trolley wheels. We also had a Costa ice blast thingy. We used to have them all the time but we sort of just stopped.. So we thought we would relive them today. They had changed some of the flavours I'm sure but I went with Belgium chocolate and Amy had sticky toffee. They were both lovely bu I'm pretty sure they taste a lot better once they've had plenty of time to melt. Lets the sauce really get everywhere. I also had work today which is what it is.. Yeah.

For some cat snaps to show you!

Our neighbour is having some gardening work done, and my cat doesn't like the noises of mowers at the best of times. But this gardener has a dog that comes with him everywhere too! Bad times for the cat. Hence why I found him being really macho and protecting his land from in between the chairs. He actually does look quite scared. Bleh.

And this one is how we managed to tempt him out of that space. Some meet with a teddy bear shape and face. He did seem to enjoy ripping that to shreds. Was quite depressing yet funny at the same time.

So I just thought I would throw this new app out there. Snapchat? You can send pics and vids through the app which delete after 10 seconds of being viewed. Surely you can just screenshot!? It sounds like an interesting app but I'm pretty sure it would use up your Internet allowance like no ones business. I have trust issues with mine so I probably won't be using this app. I can see it being really good as long as its kept clean but.. As with any photo sharing we know that probably won't happen!

That is all for today. I hope this longer post has made up for missing the last two days. Feels good to really get my teeth into a long one like this after a while. Hope you feel the same and enjoy it too. Blog you later!

Crazy kids

I'll go right ahead and tackle the title. So children are by no means crazy, they just have a very creative mind which allows them to see the world in all it's glory avoiding all the horrible stuff that adults deal with. Ah, ignorance is bliss. But this child, as soon as it saw me, shouted 'Die!' This child was still in a push chair so I don't think that's the type of thing I knew about when I was in a push chair. I just found that a bit strange. Definitely made my shift was a little more interesting than usual.

Me and Amy had carbonara for tea again today. Bacon mushroom and what ever flavour stuff is in that powder mixes together really well. Plus it's bacon. Much ado about bacon. Pig.

Books are magical aren't they? I have a lot of books sitting on my shelf which I haven't read because unfortunately I seem to go through these phases of wanting to read and then just not wanting to touch a book. Right now, I am not touching them at all. I want to. Amy got me another book which I have had my eye on for a while called Odd Apocalypse which is a horror book. A good horror book is hard because you've really got to trap the mind of the reader. I've always wanted to have my own book published in a shop and if it was a horror, I think I would even go as far to give myself a pat on the back.

I find myself at a miss to think of something else to talk about. Quite tired again, early starts and early nights. Am I actually getting into a good sleeping pattern? Thank the sun! Thanks for reading, I shall try and get my creative juices flowing for tomorrow's post. I don't want to force any more out or it'll be cack. Pure cack. Blog you later!

Wednesday 8 May 2013

Tired.. Short post..

I'm going to keep it short and sweet today. Rather tired but I know I should do this and I'm finding it hard to sleep so why not?

I hate birds. So much. They must have radars on their under bellies letting them now where all the clean cars are. Car went through the car wash yesterday - less than 24 hours later there is poo all down the side. They have the entire world to poo on and somehow they will always manage to hit cars. I think some birds have got a grudge going.

So I watched some Lost today; almost at the end of the third season. I'm surprised that I'm basically half way through and I haven got board yet. It's so good.

At the end of my shifts; I collect all of the food that is going out of date on that day. Today, there was loads. I mean, enough to feed a house for a week or so. Yet it'll just get chucked in the bin basically. I say we stick it on a train to London and let the less fortunate have some food. Wouldn't work though.. So.. Yeah.

It was the 8th today. So as of today me and Amy have been together for 2 years and 3 months. Crazy of how the time flies. Already a quarter of the way to the third year. Guess we better start making plans for it! I'm not all that good with ideas a lot of the time.

Sorry to cut it so short but this seems to have greased the hinges of my eyes which are now forcing themselves shut. I hope you enjoyed my misfortune and also had a good Wednesday. I shall blog you tomorrow, hopefully on a more alert mind!

Tuesday 7 May 2013

Car wash yeah!

The first thing I will start with is that there has been an update to the Blogger app which I now primarily post from. It looks a lot more polished, nice and has more features like image editing. All in all, improvements which in the long run should help me post better things. Once I get used to it. Also seems that the keyboard is a lot more sensitive and accurate so with any luck no more boo boos on my end. Bored yet? Okay, I'll talk about some else.

This is just something I literally thought of right now. Internet is awesome. We all love it and feel like cavemen when it's not working. What do you find more frustrating though? When it just won't work, or when it works then stops then works then stops.. Etc.. I hate that more. You get some connection and then it stops working. Where's it gone? The neighbours? Bah.

I probably should get to the title of the post now.. Car wash. I have never been through one before as far as I can remember. Having just got Penelope, we thought we should pamper her a little by giving her a car wash. So I wasn't really sure what to expect. Or what to do for that matter. Like where to park first and then pay and the whole shabang, luckily Amy knew so that made it easier. I also unscrewed the radio antenna because they have a tendency to snap I have heard. So we got into the washing station thingy with the huge machine around us. The only guidance was a green light to move forwards, red to stop and orange to reverse. When it turned red nothing really happened and then all of a sudden it just went to town. I am not sure if I enjoyed it or not but at least I can stay out of one for now. Penelope has some black plastic strips across the roof for design I assume, they were already loose but one sort of flew off the car. Luckily it just clipped back on so it was all good. The washing stuff was blue and purple so I took a picture from inside to show you all. I do like a bit of purple.

So it turns out this app now allows me to place my pictures into the post when I want to. That is oh so very handy!

I seem to be making a lot of emphasis on this car wash. I know it seems silly but it was a first for me. My first car wash. At my age, 20, which isn't old by any stretch, it's hard to find something to do which you can say you've never done before. Enjoy the little things.

For dinner today, me and Amy had some more chicken. Once again from the coop, 2 for £7 dealio. This time it was chicken on skewers marinaded in sweet chilli. Wasn't as good as yesterday's but the chicken was very tender and juicy. We also had some potato roasties which are also pretty dam tasty. If anyone knows where to get hold of some large ones let me know. The shops only seem to sell mini ones and and we really want some big ones to rip to shreds. In an orderly fashion with knifes and forks. Ahem.

I'm about half way through season thee of Lost now. That is all I will say. Go watch it yourself. I give you permission to stop reading and watch that.

Me Tate tried to set up a sky block map on Minecraft today. For those of you who know the game, it's basically a survival map were you start on a floating island with limited provisions. From there you make more land and farms and all that stuff to survive. Only problem with the Xbox version is that lava can't be anywhere near the spawn point. So making a cobblestone generator is near impossible while keeping the island small and challenging. Right now it's ironing out kinks but if he can make it, I think it would be pretty darn awesome.

Work Internet work!

I haven't shown you a picture of my cat in a while. Here's one for you.

Looking all majestic. 'This is my garden.' He is a puff so anyone can use his garden really, he likes to act tough but he is getting a bit old to fight now. I think he'll retire soon.

That's all today folks. That makes me think of bugs bunny on the loony tunes at the end. Hope someone knows what I am on about.. Anywho, thanks for reading! Blog you later.

Wells

Not the water type. Tunbridge Wells. That's where I went today.

So in the last 3 days we've been to Lakeside, Maidstone, Bluewater, Tunbridge Wells and technically Tonbridge as we had to drive through it. That is some mileage covered. To be fair a lot of it is to help get used to the car which I now very much enjoy driving, but it was quite strange to realise the difference in stock in different places. Each shop of the same brand was different and sold different things. I know that probably isn't all that shocking but I just assumed they all got the same lines of clothing or whatever to sell at the same time. Turns out I was wrong!

Before all this happened, Amy was brushing her teeth when she called me into the bathroom. She pointed at the cup and I though spider. I with it was now. Massive wasp just chilling in the cup like nothing was odd about it. Luckily it seemed pretty dazed and didn't move at all as I carried the cup down stairs and outside to fling it onto the garden. It didn't fly away or anything. Pretty sure it wasn't dead anyway..

Hadn't been to Tunbridge Wells for a while before today and I think it's about the same distance away as Maidstone. Took about 40 minutes to get there thanks to the bank holiday madness, and then when we did get there the road to the car park I usually use was shut. Luckily we found another one which was dirt cheap, £1.30 for 3 hours. Only thing was it was about 15 minutes from the main high street at the top of a steep hill. All good for the body none the less.

We were on the hunt for Ray Bans, not necessarily to buy which we didn't but.. More to get the feel of the sizes. All the sites online say small medium or large frame which doesn't mean a lot to you unless you try them on. Turns out that quite a few shops had Ray Bans in them, cheapest pair was saw was about £44 and they were on offer maybe because they weren't the most attractive ones. What's pretty crazy is that Ray Bans are some of the cheapest sun glasses, other from labels like Dior and Channel cost up to £500! I don't think I would want £500 on my face, it's always on show.

Had a subway for lunch - Italian BMT with cheese, green peppers, red onions and gherkins. So dam tasty! I usually got for the meatball marianna but today I felt like something different. The BMT is just sliced meat. Lots of it. Amy went for a spicy Italian which looked rather nice but I've never tried it. I e also never tried any of their sauces, she chose the sweet onion one. Maybe I should broaden my taste buds to these new things next time.

I really like reversing in my car. Seems a hell of a lot easier. Also, it doesn't feel like driving because the seat is huge. Comfortableness. That's even a real word.

So the Coop has got a load of new summery chicken stuff in on offer and me and Amy tried some today. We have the chicken legs and thighs in a BBQ marinade. Half hour on gas mark 5, then om nom nom. They were rather tasty I must admit but there was a lot of bone for the amount of meat you got. We also got some sweet chicken skewers which we are going to try at another point in the week or it would've been to much to eat in one go!

WE WENT FOR A WALK!

Not a long one. Just fancied the lovely weather being poured over us. We got a slush puppy from Nisa/BG Stores etc. to accompany us. If you ask someone their favourite flavour they usually say the colour rather than the actual flavour. At least that's what I've noticed. In Lakeside, there was a sweet shop with an entire wall dedicated to slush puppies. 8 machines with 6 flavours. I wanted to try all the pretty colours!

Still listening to Bastille. Going strong.

Today's pictures!

The first was of an add in the shop window of a news agents in BG high street. A very clever advert but there are literally no details so this person must be paying to have their card in the window for now business income. Not worth it to me but I guess if someone manages to get the right numbers the I'll be a believer.

The second is a very old photo from another visit to T Wells, we stopped off and got a hot chocolate because it was pretty nippy! Whipped cream always makes things better. We used to drink at coffee shops loads, but now £4 for a drink it a tad expensive!

That is all for today! Sorry for any grammar, quite tired so I'm heading to bed like.. Now? I'll check it over tomorrow maybe.. Hope you had a good bank holiday! Blog you later.

Mexican Saturday?

So as I predicted, I didn't manage to get around to doing a blog yesterday night as I was at a friends house. I'm doing one today instead as I thought I should.

So Mexican Saturday, what is that I hear you ask? Well obviously I mentioned that we were heading to Lakeside, turns out I didn't drive. Tate did as the navigation in his car was a bit better than just using a phone all the way there and back. He also has a very nice comfy tinted car which means I can watch people's driving habits without feeling awkward. Lots of people think looking at their crutch while driving is natural. We know you are looking at your phones! One of the main reasons we wanted to go - well for me and Amy at least - was to try Taco Bell. Fast food Mexican! I wouldn't at any stretch say it is worth all the hassle of getting there just for the Taco Bell but it was so good. I can't remember what the thing I had was called, it was like a hexagon shaped fajita with chicken and sauces and salad and taco shell. All in one. So tasty. There's a picture of it down the bottom! If you are at Lakeside I would recommend you try it. Pretty cheap as well.

After that we headed back to Kent for a Kinect night at Mr Tate's house. His friend also joined us who we had never met before so that was great. Always nice to meet new people! For tea there we had fajitas which is why I went for Mexican Saturday. Also known as a stomach churner. We also had angel delight with rice crispies which I haven't had in ages! Butterscotch and strawberry flavour. Om nom nom. We also played the Kinect for once which was a strange revolution for us! Usually it sits in the bag for most of the evening we got sporty.

Just explain the second photo now before I forget. I found that half peeled banana sitting in my house. Not until I spoke to my mum did I know why. Turns out she started peeling the decided to do something else before finishing peeling and eating. Food is always first for me. Just saying.

Today me and Amy went around the houses to Maidstone and then to Bluewater. It would appear that Penelope is pretty efficient on the fuel consumption so this worked out as a pretty good test as well as something to do. I was surprised how busy the shops were for a Sunday but we thought it would be less busy than tomorrow - bank holiday madness! We also ran into an old friend in Bluewater where she now works. We hadn't seen her for at least a year I would assume. Crazy how the time flies! Amy got some new black shoes for school and a swatch which is very nice and purple. I took a fancy to a watch costing £105 so I thought I would leave that.. Did get a bubble gum air freshened spray for the car though. Close enough?

Bastille are a really good band. Amy got the album today as well for something to listen to in the car. It's called Bad Blood and I would highly recommend it. I think we easily listened to it three times over already. It is staying in the CD player for a while now.

So what are your plans for the bank holiday? I'm thinking of heading south for a change to Tonbridge or Royal Tunbridge Wells. We shall see where the mood takes me in the mornings I hope you have a nice day, should be nice and hot apparently so get out and fan - safely mind you. Don't cook yourself with baby oil! Blog you later.

Weekend!

Yay! Friday night means the start of the weekend. It is always a great feeling and it is a shame that it is the the shortest part of the week. I always find it odd that I am laying here in bed and there will be numerous people out getting drunk and probably doing things they'll regret. Funny how the world works.

This didn't happen to me today but I thought I would ask - do you ever get bored? But know that you shouldn't be? Sometimes I'll be sitting in my room bored even though there is a TV in front of me, an Xbox with numerous games and a laptop to surf the net, loads of books which I still need to read; yet I jut have no motivation for any of them. I just feel lost and bored. I find this very strange as kids used to be outside for an entire day with a hoop and a stick yet this boredom gets me.

So what did I do today? You may be surprised to know that I watched more Lost. I know I am talking about it all the time but it just blows my mind. I can't stop, every twist and turn just makes me want to watch more and more! It's a shame that I might not ever really know the true meaning of things, talking to someone I work with about it - we both have different ideas about each bit. That's the beauty of a thing like this, who knows who is right? And to be fair, does it matter if someone is? If it can make you talk about it and make you think - that's awesome in itself.

I also helped my Dad outside in the garage because he needed use of my huge arms. Ahem. We've got a lot of my nans old furniture from her flat which no one needs or wants so a lot went to the scrap heap. Makes more room in the garage so it's a win win really. Also got rid of the old snooker table, I would've kept it but it doesn't really help that I'm taller than it now. Removes the challenge if you can play standing up. I really want to join a snooker club though. Would be awesome. There was also an entire box full of old kinder toys. It was pretty crazy to look a what I used to get excited about when I was younger. The toys in the eggs today have moving parts and wings and crazy stuff, these were just plastic set in moulds and painted. Yet we loved them.

I also had work from 4-10.. Need a bag?.. Blah blah.. Receipt?.. You get the picture. Highlight of the day was picking up Amy up because we've got a good weekend ahead of us!

Just a heads up, there may be no post tomorrow as I am over Mr Tate's abode for the evening so I'm not sure if I will have the time. We are usually there until Sunday morning and I don't want to be rude and tap away at my phone for half an hour. Also the trip to Lakeside tomorrow which should be good. Only been into Essex once before to go to a fancy dress party. Shame that the price for the bridge has gone up though..

Pictures!?

The first I took today when I was having some problems watching Lost, turns out I needed to reset the router downstairs. Luckily I didn't have to leave that episode half way through! It just seems whenever the screen freezes on a close up of a person you get the most unattractive faces. This I am sure to say goes to prove my argument. The second picture goes alongside this. I wasn't actually going for anything there when I took the picture, I just wanted to show him to someone. Not sure why, maybe to ask if they had seen him before. He's a comedian.

Thanks for reading today, if you made it this far.. Dum dum dum! Anyway, have a good weekend and enjoy yourself! Shall blog you later on.
