G'bye July

That title totally rhymed.

It's kind of strange that half of the year has already gone.. I know that was technically the end of June but a whole half year has flown by!

Anyway, today will be a shorter one because I started work at 3 so yeah.

And I spent a lot of the rest of the day asleep.. I know it's kind of bad but sometimes sleep is just the thing to do. I didn't wake up terribly late, I was out and about by 10. Then I sort of napped with Amy until half 1..

Then we had lunch. We had a bruschetta to continue our healthy spree. Red onion, tomatoes with some garlic salt and olive oil. Crusty toasted ciabatta bread. Sweet chilli sauce. Oh it's so good. I don't even care.

By the way, check out element animation on YouTube. They are awesome. Just awesome.

Then I had work.. Right now I'm going to watch Shaun of the Dead because The Worlds End has given me cravings. They need to be sated. This'll work.

Thanks for reading, shall watch my film. Blog you later.

Day 31
I went to sign in on my Xbox and my little avatar was asleep with a teddy bear. Never knew it did that. Gamerscore!

Healthiness

My day started with work at 7 in the morning until midday. Fast forward..

And it's midday. I got home with Amy and the house was empty because I forgot everyone would be out. Had a chat with my nan on the phone. Then we made Mexican food for lunch, I can't spell it properly but it was rather nice. Chicken with seasoning, salsa, grated cheese in a fried tortilla wrap, folded over. Very tasty. Never look anything like the box though..

We then watched some TV - well a lot all the way up until about 5. We watched some Top Gear and I'm forever amazed by the ridiculous budget they get. Also watched some Man Vs. Food which has some crazy meals on it. Huge. Nothing compared to epic meal time on YouTube though, the stuff they make would be too much for the heart attack cafe. We also watched Storage Raiders which is awesome and you should try watch it sometime. It's about storage units that get auctioned off because the owners couldn't afford them anymore. Some really random stuff turns up in them - like whale poo.

We had a very lovely tea, I liked it a lot more than Amy did and that'll be my picture for today - down below.

We watched 90210 from yesterday and you can tell its getting close to the end of the series because everything is kicking off and getting dramatic. Ahhh the drama.

Then an evening if general chillaxation was in order. To tired to do anything - apart from get some ice cream. There's always energy for ice cream. I remember my friend saying eating ice cream is negative calories because the amount of energy your body uses to warm the ice cream up offsets the calories. I wish that was true because I love the stuff!

Thanks for reading. Blog you later.

Day 30
So this here is - chicken, bacon, spring onion, red onion, green pepper, rocket, baby leaf salad, cheddar and onion croutons with a tomato and chilli dressing. And a tomato roll. Loved it. An explosion on the tongue.

The World's End

It's not really. I'm just quoting the title of the film that I saw today. It was so friggin' good!

To start from the beginning, I had Amy round last night because as there is no more school we can rebels like that. Yeah. Woke up, had a shower.. The usual bits and bobs of your morning. We for some reason had the craving to go and look at some Lego so we hopped in to the bubble car and headed to Bluewater.

It's nice going during the week as people are still at work so parking is generally nice and easy, close to the shops and then it's not too busy. We weren't there for very long because we knew what we wanted to go and look at and once we were done browsing it had gotten a bit busty - plus when we had finished browsing we were right next to the exit for the car. We then fancied being a bit adventurous and used some new roads to get into Maidstone to go to Hobby Craft and Argos with the free parking. Free parking is the bomb. We then went home a different way to usual so we could go to Aylseford and then to Tesco! Pretty adventurous from someone who doesn't like driving all that much if I do say so myself. Didn't get lost either.

Then we did some shopping and spent some money so.. Yeah that happened. We got a lot of salad. Because we can. Greens.

By the time we were back it was about half four and we had made plans to go and see a film with Mr Tate - The World's End as you can presume already. We thought we would be seeing the 8:10 showing as it was so close to 5, turns out we went to the 5:20 showing even though we didn't leave until 5:10. We still made it with about 5 minutes of trailers to sit through so it was better timing than getting there early and then sitting through all the trailers.. The film is amazing. As it is still in the cinema I won't say anything about because people will probably be going to see this. If by chance they came across this post before hand and I ruined it for them - I would feel bad. If I ever found out. This way there can be no problems. GO SEE IT!

We then went to the Dockside Outlet where we had a Nando's for tea. We were famished as we hadn't had a proper lunch and then sat through a film before eating.. As good as always and the food was at the table again. I could used to that then complain at other restaurants. Only problem is if what if they refused my card by the time the food was at my table, being devoured. Awk's.

That was my day. Pretty good if you ask me. I enjoyed it so you should enjoy reading it? I don't think it really works that way to be fair but I can assume. Thanks for reading.

Day 29
All I want to do now is watch both of these because I forgot how much I like Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. They are two of the only actors whose names I know and recommend. I also follow then on Twitter and I barely use Twitter.

Thorpe Park

I am on the netbook at the moment and I can't remember what font I usually use so this may look all whacky..

I thought I would do some typing today as I know a lot of my recent posts have basically just pictures and that is because I have actually been quite busy and then sleeping loads. In this post I would like to talk about our trip to Thorpe Park because it was a really good experience and I hadn't been on a lot of the rides until this visit so.. A lot of first impressions!

There were 11 of us in total so it was that awkward number where you needed 3 cars. We thought a mini bus would have been epic but you need to be 21 to drive one of them.. And then someone would have had to actually drive it so. I drove and it wasn't too bad as everyone had been saying that we'll get stuck in traffic. We did a little bit but we still made it in time that the park literally opened as we all got through the gate. Well first we had to pick up our annual passes, me and Amy both got one through my union which gave us a nice discount. They took our pictures with a little webcam to put on the passes which was strange but.. It makes sense.

The first ride we went on was Saw and I really wasn't looking forward to it because I know there is that like reverse drop bit and I knew it would make my tummy lurch. I was right, and all the drops that you can't see in the dark bit. LURCH. I found there was always that horrible feeling when you are queuing to go on a ride you've never been on before because you have no idea what to expect. The only thing I found a little strange about the Saw ride is that the whole Saw franchise is an 18 and over thing so.. I guess they can't apply the age thing to rides. Just height.

The rest of this probably won't be in order because I can't remember the exact order or which rides we went on but obviously the best ones will stick in my head.

And we went on the banana boat because we are awesome.

I remember the last ride we went on, that was Stealth - I put the picture of the keyring I got from it up on here the other day. We ran to the queue for Stealth so that we could get on before the ride shut. I remember being next in line and looking at how quick the ride accelerates from stand still and thinking 'why am I doing this?' The first bit of speed really caught me off guard and knocked all the air out of me and I got off a little light headed. The 200 foot drop bit wasn't so bad I found because I could see where I was going. I couldn't by the picture very well because I couldn't think straight having no oxygen in me.

We all went on Swarm together and I must say I was very impressed with the set of the ride but I didn't really understand the whole point of it having a storyline because its just a ride at the end of the day.. My friend unfortunately lost his iPod on the ride. We went back to look for it later and ended up finding someone else's iPhone and we were surprised that they hadn't said that they'd lost it. Oh well.

I really like Colossus, I remember going on that one before with the corkscrew bit. The bit where everyone seemed to simultaneously bang their heads. Unfortunately my friend had a metal hair band in and that hurt a bit..

I love Nemesis Inferno or any ride in general where your legs are dangling. I remember really liking Vampire where ever that one is. Not really sure why but they don't make me feel funny or anything.

All the static rides make me feel funny like the giant swing which I think is called Rush, falling towards the ground was a very horrible feeling.. Vortex makes me feel awful but I like to go on it to watch everyone else's faces which they are swinging. I don't even want to know what mine looks like because its probably the same or a lot worse. I'd never been on Samurai because that one seems to have a tendency to breakdown. It was broken the last two times I went. I like the way the seat swings on that one, makes it different every time it would appear. Plus you never go upside down.

I refuse to ever go on the Detonator again. I've been on it once and I really really really hate it. It's god awful.

The big splashing one which gets everyone wet was broken a lot so some of us didn't really bother with it. The Rumba Rapids were pretty cool. I didn't know it was there but it was fun because half of us got on one boat and the rest were on the one behind us. Somehow they managed to overtake us but.. Meh. We all ended up in the same place.

Thorpe Park is friggin' awesome. We're going to go again soon as we can go as much as we want for a whole year now! Plus we got the £16 drinks capsule which gives unlimited refills for the year too. Freeness.

I'll leave it there as the there isn't enough time for other bits I want to talk about. Thanks for reading. Blog you later.

Day 28
Here is a picture of a swan and some ducks. Eating bread. Yup.

Ikea?

Day 27
So we went to Lakeside and we had a look in Ikea because it was freaking huge and wondered what it would be like. There's a lot of nice stuff in there but we are probably he only people to come out of there only buying two ice cube trays at 95p each..

Yup.. A picture

Tired. You get it. I should be back to normal after this weekend so.. Some substantial posts!

Day 26
The little key ring I got from Thorpe Park from Stealth. Beautiful.

I'm a fan

I know it's another short one but Thorpe Park took more out of me than I thought and my shoulder hurts.. And it's still really hot and humid and uncomfortable. So I'm laying in front of a fan. Hence the 'I'm a fan.' There will be longer posts coming soon just at the moment I'm pretty wiped!

Day 25
The fan I'm a fan of.
